I read the good reviews and thought this would be fine. Location is good, super central etc. what they don’t tell you is: you don’t stay in the main hotel building. It’s like a few buildings on the same street, so you’re not in the same one as reception or the cafe etc. that means you have no extra space. In terms of the room, You get what you pay for. Simple room, zero amenities (one body soap, nothing else). Room is tiny, could not open my suitcase and move around it. When I arrived at 7 pm, I asked if another room is possible and the staff (who also seemed to not be fluent in English) told me no. So maybe I had the worst room. However I would say overall staff was not great. Room was fine if you plan to spend zero time in it. I would not stay here again and I think money better spent elsewhere.

So Lovely!

The hotel has a few buildings on the same street. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and sitting areas were very nice. The location is great, a few minute walk to the old town but far enough away that your not bombarded with tourists at your door.

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel looks nice, clean, except that the floor needs some mapping. Housekeeping done while we were there. When they give you Rm# 452 it’s an apartment style with stairs to go up the second floor that has double sofa bed. Me and my husband had queen bed in the main floor. There was no light in the shower room, we reported it, they still have to install wiring for the shower room light. The hotel location is walking distance to the old port, many eating areas, attractions, accessible to transportations. One can take the bus to go and see the Notre Dame de Gaule. Many brand name stores around. I can suggest for this hotel to others.

Very nice hotel in a great location. We particularly appreciated the big courtyard garden where breakfast and dinner or drinks could be taken. It was lovely to sit there of a morning and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Our room had everything we needed and bed was very comfortable. The town houses that make up the hotel are in quite a smart street, 5 minutes walk one way from Vieux Port and the same the other way from the main shopping street.

Fantastic hotel in a lovely area , 10 minutes walk from the port. Very cool, mid century furniture in reception and cute little bar.The amazing garden was a sanctuary during the recent heatwave.Staff were very helpful, our room was in the building nextdoor( think the hotel own lots of properties in the street) overlooked a courtyard, great size room including huge bed.Highly recommend !
