The room was very pleasant but in the roof and was extremely hot, even with all windows open and a fan. The breakfast was excellent. Check-in time is restricted on Mondays and Tuesdays when the restaurant is closed and it was difficult to contact the hotel to make an arrangement outside these times, I had to call many times before anyone answered.

We had the loveliest weekend at Bertram's. The room was great (good shower in the bathroom), and the food was excellent. The breakfast was so good that we genuinely didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. We also had dinner in the restaurant one evening, which again was wonderful. The staff were so nice and couldn't do enough for us. We actually got engaged that weekend, so will always have very fond memories of Bertram's and Warkworth!

Bertrams is a lovely place to stay in Warkworth. The rooms are very comfortable with everything you need. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
We stayed in a dog friendly room which was at the front facing the road. The room was really hot due to the great weather but we were unable to have the window open during the night because of the noise from the busy road. We did however have a freestanding fan which was excellent and very much appreciated.
Breakfasts are excellent and cooked fresh. Portions are huge!
Would highly recommend staying at Bertram’s.
