This is a great location - an easy 20-30-minute stroll to the city center, meanwhile you get a taste of local non-touristy culture. It's close by to some incredible historic locations and we were perfectly at home there with 4 adults, 1 child. As for improvements, we were there in August and it was hot! The apartment was furnished with 2 small fans, which we made do with. But with no AC made the apartment a little more uncomfortable than it needed to be. To be fair, Italy and Europe have experienced all-time-high temperatures this summer and so, it's a challenge not just here in this apartment.
