We had a lovely stay at the chocolate suites and the hotel is in an amazing location!! However to rate this 5 star it would have been great to have a few more mirrors in the room, as you can imagine 4 women getting ready 1 mirror in the bathroom wasn’t ideal, we could have done with a few in the bedrooms too. Also the bathroom in Room 2 was very tiny, two of us were pregnant so it was a little tricky to manoeuvre in there. Overall it was a lovely stay and it was so nice to just use codes to get into the property and not a key.

Nice, roomy apartment that worked well for the 4 of us. Acces codes for entry into property & room were a great idea as we could come & go individually. Loved the chocolate treats!

Good, I would re-book.

Great location, check in easy. Mosquito problem, very hot with hot pipes under the floor.

Yes there were shops nearby but we did not need to buy anything. Room was very clean. Beds were comfortable and there was also a gap between the two beds which is rare to find. Over all very happy with our stay. Nearly forgot. The Chocolate Theme was good specially because each room was name a Chocolate Name.

The property is very well located, rooms look new and are very well equiped and comfortable.. the chocolate theme is adorable and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.. if we go back to Brugge we will definitely love to stay here again.

the hotel was neat and clean and in a great location - near the canal and the Market Square. However, there is mo elevator to access the upper floors. only and elevator to be used for luggage - If the climb up narrow staircases isn't for you, you should make sure to ask for a room on a lower floor
Shilpa, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Central location ideal for exploring the beautiful city of Brugge. Welcome email before stay giving codes to access building and our room made check in easy and seamless. Room was clean and generally in good nick for the price point. The only negatives (if I am being picky) were there was no one at reception for our entire stay, our shower was flooding the bathroom (we had to turn it off and on a few times each shower to let the water drain to stop it overflowing and put towels on the bathroom floor). As there was no staff around we had no one to report this to. Also, although there is a room to store luggage before/after check in, this room is unlocked with no staff supervision so I was anxious leaving property there unattended. Last point, there is no lift for guests to use so hotel would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who found stairs difficult.
Sian, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The room was good. We were pleasantly surprised to find some chocolates left on each bed—thank you for that! However, the room was quite hot. A portable air conditioner would be the best option, as a fan is not enough. You should consider that for future guests.
Bernhard, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

I recently stayed at this property in Bruges and overall had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location was fantastic—right in the centre, making it incredibly easy to explore the city on foot. Check-in was simple and the instructions provided beforehand were clear and accurate. The beds were also reasonably comfortable, which made coming back after a day of sightseeing quite pleasant. However, there were a few disappointing aspects that impacted the stay. The cleanliness under the beds was lacking, as we noticed a fair amount of dust. Our room was also situated next to a communal toilet, which felt unusual given that it seemed all rooms were supposed to have en-suites. The biggest issue, though, was an alarm that went off in reception throughout the night for two out of our three nights. It made it quite difficult to get a proper night’s rest. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and resolving the alarm issue, this property could be a much better experience, especially given its excellent location.
Scott, 3-night trip

Toilet isnt same in the picture ! Just baby can enter inside also beds are not comfortable
Batuhan, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

We weren’t forwarded the check in information so we tried to message several times and call. The one who we spoke to gave us the wrong room then I had multiple numbers on WhatsApp messaging me saying we were in the wrong room but it was them that gave it to us. Then there were people getting mad in the chat in Spanish and in Russian so they had me in their work group chat. It didn’t make us feel safe and our things secure in the room. We were out trying to enjoy the day but getting harrassed in messages and ruined our day. Would not recommend. The bathroom has mold as there is no ventilation and left only 2 toilet rooms for many people over many nights. The location is good but I wouldn’t stay again.
Michelle, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

There’s nobody at the front desk, everything is via email in the response within 24 hours. I travel with my wife, 4 and seven year old. There was no hot water, and we tried reaching the hotel, there was no answer. Very inconvenient not having staff on site specially when you run into problems like this.
Felipe, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Cute but lacking

We never received communication from the C.S. regarding checkin & there’s no staff on site to assist so we had to spend extra $ to call staff. Location was excellent. Space is cute. Chocolates on bed were a nice touch as was the towel warmer. Bed was unfortunately extremely uncomfortable. Refrigerator made a ton of noise. Both made sleep difficult. It was also impossible to shower without soaking the floor. One minor disappointment, I wish there was a box of tissue in the room, especially in the winter. Overall, though, we still enjoyed our stay.
Katie, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

The space was cute and in an amazing location but the first night the shower flooded our room. There isn’t an onsite manager so we reached out multiple times via the app for assistance but never got a reply or help in addressing the issue. Additionally, the contact number provided did not work. I see from the reviews others have complained about this shower problem previously. I was able to get some additional towels from the cleaning lady so we created a little barricade to keep the water contained to the bathroom. We stayed two days and never heard from the facility manager.
Rhonda, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

This turned into a cluster for me. I spent a lot of money booking a room here plus more for a train ride to get to Bruges (from Antwerp for me and my girlfriend). When I got here I was told my room was no longer available and, instead of a cute little chocolate room, they were going to put me in a first floor airbnb close by with mismatched furniture, a shower that backed up and 10,000 people passing the windows every day. I actually blame Expedia - they refused to do anything or credit me in any way and the chocolate suites won’t refund any of my money because I technically had a bed for the night. Guess I won’t be using either in the future.
Dan, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Great location and clean room! It was overall good for the price however room was looking tired, left side of the bed was broken which meant that sleep was uncomfortable (however could just be unfortunate in the room we stayed in) and there was a bad sewage smell in the room so we had to keep the windows open when in the room (again it could have just been our room that had this problem). It was easy to check in and out but with no reception, we weren’t able to raise this issue with staff.
