The mattresses, sheets, and pillows were all very comfortable, which is essential for travelers. The indoor swimming pool, though small, had a nice ambiance and lighting design, especially in the evenings. All the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help me, a traveler with limited English skills, for which I am very grateful.

The room I booked was tiny and yes it does have a window, but it faces another wall/window, so much of the time you cannot open the blinds, and it made the room felt even more claustrophobic. The shower is clean, but very narrow even for a lady. The shower gel rack is broken, pump head already fell out. Walls are very thin, I could hear next door opening and closing doors like it's in my room! For the price I booked, there are plenty of other options in Penang, such as a new hotel I also stayed during this trip. It had great view, offered breakfast, early check in and late check out. So I could only consider this hotel's value to be very average.

Lyf team lead by their GM Nixen Chin always make you feel at ease and accommodative to their maximum capacity. 4 Nights Stay

New property in excellent location ! Entire team was so friendly and we even had the chance to meet the Hotel's GM Mr Nixon Chin who took care of us so extremely well! We invited him to join us for a evening drink nearby the hotel with us and really superb nice gentleman !! Highly recommend anyone planning to stay in Georgetown to stay in lyf Georgetown Penang !!

The hotel is very new, colourful and lively. Nice location right behind the Eastern oriental hotel, good access to food and main street. Hotel equipped with 24 hours indoor swimming pool and gym and good enough for some exercise. One turn off is the view from the room, we were assigned for a room in inner section of the hotel which basically facing the wall and window of the opposite room. I think the front desk can do better as the outer room facing the street are mostly empty.

I came with my elderly parents, and i really appreciate the hotel staffs' assistance. The hotel staffs were attentive, especially the girl named Collette. She is friendly, helpful and very passionate about this job. Even though she is not a front desk staff, yet she still provided assistance where possible. 1 most impressive point was before she signed off, she saw me at the lobby and she came by to make sure everything was alright with us, then only she went home. Another staff Ammar was handling our check in. In view of our situation (elderly parents in wheel chair), he proactively upgrade my parents to the OKU room which was more spacious and has extra amenities like handrail. I really appreciate his thoughtfulness. Besides that, the hotel was clean with vibrant & modern design. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and i will definitely come back again. 5 stars without any hesitation. Cons: if parking is free for guest, that would have been perfect. :)

It’s a good but not great property. Clean with a nice lobby and access to lots of restaurants and shops. I would stay here again, but it’s not my first choice in George Town. My favorite thing about the hotel is that it was washing machines and dryers!
