We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Francesco (the owner) was wonderful. We were allowed to get into our room before the official check-in time, which was very appreciated. In addition, Francesco scheduled a cab for us on our departure day. Breakfast was great and varied, and coffee/tea was available at any time. The location was superb as well, very close to the historic center but in a quiet neigborhood with many great dining options. It's also close to the train station. Would highly recommend this b&b to anyone traveling to Florence.

We loved our time at The Wheels, and would highly recommend anyone visiting Florence to stay here. The entire space is beautifully designed and the location is perfect. It’s close to great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping, but just far enough away that it is quiet at night. Francesco was extremely hospitable and went above and beyond with great recommendations for both Florence and our upcoming travels. The breakfast was wonderful and the perfect way to start each day!

Room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. Location was also very convenient. Host was very helpful and provided very good suggestions about the area. Only negatives were there was no daily room cleaning or fresh towels provided. The rooms and entire facility is a bit noisy (everything is a hard surface that does not absorb sound). Could easily hear anytime another door outside our room opened/closed and also hear others talking.

I would definitely recommend this place. First of all, it's a beautiful hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and always took the time to listen whenever we had a problem. You also get a level of freedom that you don't usually find at other hotels. You're pretty much left to enjoy your stay on your own, but in a good way. The hotel is about a 12-minute walk from the city center, but there are plenty of great local restaurants nearby, which made the experience even better. The only small issue I had was with the air conditioning. I couldn't quite figure it out—it always seemed to be either too cold or too warm. That might just have been me, though. The breakfast was also really good. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely come back. This review is from two friends, aged 18 and 19.
