Quirky and cool boutique hotel in a convenient loc
Cool and funky with stylish and distinctive decor and features (tiny espresso maker in the room!) I was able to park on the street overnight. The pillows are too thick and springy for me. But otherwise comfortable. Surprisingly not noisy even though the room was right above the street. Thoughtfully designed window coverings give privacy, darkness and good sound buffering.

6/10 Good

The hotel room was spacious but the service a bit odd. It was difficult to get someone to service the room. I would say it’s a very “hands off” hotel experience. The location is fine, the restaurant is great. Overall just so so.

Not up to Pali standards
I was wildly disappointed with my stay here. I’ve stayed at other Pali properties and this was definitely below their standard. The base board of the room door was falling off (literally a screw fell out when I opened it), the sheets were new, but clearly unwashed and straight out of a manufacturer packaging based on the fold lines and smell, the lighting was all of 2 watts and the walls are PAPER thin. Oh and not to mention the A/C is centralized through the hotel and cannot be adjusted for each individual room. For what they are charging, you can get a MUCH better quality somewhere else. You’re paying for the here and nothing more.

Hidden Gem
This is my go to hotel. Convenience and customer service are incredible. Recently remodeled rooms really make this a five start hidden gem

Fully Recommend!
Everything was so nice from when we arrived to our express checkout when we left. The entire staff is super friendly and accommodating as well as very responsive to any requests we had. It was a pleasant stay for our anniversary and new years!

8/10 Very good

Hip, but uneven. Staff is great. Lobby lovely. Restaurant is a gem and well-priced for LA. Rooms are below par. There are only a ladder and wall hooks for hanging clothes; no closet or wardrobe. No dresser or even luggage rack for suitcase. Clearly, the hotel is designed for short-term stays only. Had a balcony with plants that hadn’t been weeded in ages, an indication of general lack of care. No recycling in room. Noisy. Horrible, oppressive, dark green rooms and hallways.

4/10 Fair

I stayed in a room on the 1st floor. The rooms feel very used. Bathroom had broken towel hooks. No accessible place to plug things in (phone/watch charger). Old college door style fridge propped up on a box, seemed strange and dingy for the price I paid.

4/10 Fair

The hotel might look nice at first—clean and stylish rooms—but wow, what a nightmare. The entire floor is controlled by central AC, so we couldn’t adjust the temperature in our own room. During the day, AC was on and it was freezing. I had to keep my sweater and jacket on the whole time, and even then, I was cold. At night, the staff was too lazy to check the AC, so they just turned it off entirely. By morning, it was stifling hot. During our entire stay, I was either shivering or sweating. They also say they have “free parking,” but it is not true. They charge daily, and there aren’t even enough spots for all the rooms. We paid for the entire day parking (it must be reserved since we paid, right?), we left to have fun, came back at midnight, and—surprise—no parking! And there’s no street parking nearby, so you’re stuck. And the worst part? No receptionist at night. Just a clueless security guard who can’t help with anything and takes zero responsibility. If something goes wrong at night, you're completely on your own.

Safe, all my destinations were walkable. The wool blanket and comfy home like room was the best. Only issue was thin walls between the rooms. Heard my neighbors talk most of the night
