Cozy and nice
Rather small room for two or more but clean and cozy. This is not a love hotel so comfortable for family stay.

Wouldn't recommend.
No wifi. Staff was helpful most of the time. Key situation was weird. You had to leave it at the front desk every time you went out. I carry a lot of expensive gear for work so I didn't feel comfortable with that. There were lots of flies in my room. Wouldn't recommend, you can get cheap hotels in Seoul that are better.

Seoul - stunning, safe, shiny - so much to see
I had 2 weeks, by myself, in Seoul. The motel was perfectly located for me to 'map out' daily walking adventures and sight-seeing. Free use of the computer/internet was great for keeping in touch from home and searching info about Seoul. The tourist information offices in Seoul are extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Amiga Inn.

Place for a food hunter
It is my second time staying in Amiga. The room is good. I love most the neighborhood as it is near to Gwangjang market, subway station, and lots of restaurants within 5 minutes walk.

I did a bit of drunken sleepwalking and the night staff was member was great and helped me to my room (I was conscious by this time). I didn't have breakfast as I missed my alarm. The nearby market and nightlife is awesome!

Good for the money
This is an old hotel. I believe it was an old "love" motel. These things were popular around 30 years ago in Korea. Since that time, the love motel industry has changed and this hotel has had to change it's clientele. I only mention this to give people perspective. It was originally designed for Korean couples 30 years ago, when standards were very different. So, many foreigners that now come have completely different standards. If you bear that in mind, it doesn't seem so bad. It's a better option (in my mind) than hostels. Also, the people who run the hotel are nice, but you can tell that they are used to dealing with difficult and disappointed foreigners. So, if you are nice to them, they will be nice to you and take care of you.

Clean well maintained hotel, close to everything.
Hotel was well priced, close to train station and very clean. There was a bit of tobacco smoke odour but considering that so many folks smoke in Korea, it wasn't too bad.

Clean and good loc'n but note it *is* a love motel
Decent room for budget travelers. Clean, large room with OK beds and en-suite bathroom. In-room individually controlled air conditioning. Desk/workspace available with uncomfortable stool for sitting. Mini-fridge in room. Bathroom has no shower curtain so half the bathroom gets soaked while you shower, and timed bathroom light goes off if you spend too long in the bathroom. Front-desk staff friendly, but only one speaks passable English. Free mediocre breakfast offered (cereal, rock-hard waffles, congee, etc.). Although it's clean and we never felt any element of seediness, this *is* a love motel, and occasionally at night and into the morning you will hear the sounds of local amorous young couples. Very close (a three-minute walk) to the Metro with several restaurants and coffee shops in the immediate vicinity.

small rooms, hard to find, good location, budget
hotel is hard to find and most taxis have a hard time finding it (if they even accept the drive), it doesn't pop up on their GPS systems so you may want to come prepared with a print out of map in Korean), there is a Ramada nearby that is convenient recognizable location, also alleyway where hotel sits is too narrow for many taxis who let you off a couple of blocks away but, after you get used to locating it, the hotel is actually pretty conveniently located to many sites if you don't mind a longer walks, and very close to a metro stop, neighborhood popular with afterwork office workers out for customary dinner and libations, this may or may not bother you rooms are very small and could definitely use a refresh, the double beds (for two people) on the small size, but bathrooms seemed quite reasonable and provided full set of consumables i.e. shampoo, conditioner, even toothpaste etc all in all, for the price, compared to others, it seems a fair deal

Decent hotel but along a remote lane.
Opposite road from kwangjang market and 2 min walk to jongno1 station. Hotel was at a remote and small lane, but a decent and clean hoyel. The elder reception lady was welcoming and patiently take us to the room, explaining about their room functions. But the younger one was a bit rude as we wanted to left our luggage after we check out for 2 hours and she seems unhappy.

Family owned hotel
The hotel is located in a small lane with 2 addresses. It is difficult to find even by taxi drivers. The 3rd taxi driver had to phoned the hotel to ask for direction. The 1st and 2nd taxi driver refused to take us after failure to find the hotel in their GPS. This is a family owned hotel and the father and daughter are not very friendly and helpful. Very strict check in time even though the rooms were available 2 hours before the check-in time. Location is OK and near to subway and Dongdaeman.

We booked and paid 2 standard rooms for 7 days. We learned that the check-in time is 3pm. But before we actual made booking the Hotel.com operator told us that the hotel can be check-in at 12pm. We called the hotel a few days before and request the check-in time is 12pm coz we flight over night and arrive early in the morning. They said will try their best. On arrival we meet a girl receptionist. Her English was good but her attitude was terrible as a hotel receptionist. She has a lot to learn if she wants to be in the hospitality industry.

Great Location! :)
Convenient location closed to restaurants, subway & markets. Had a difficult time finding it at first. Get off Jogno 5-ga subway station, exit 14 & you should see A Twosome Place cafe in front of a pharmacy. Walk through that street. You will see a lot of restaurants. Keep walking, you will see 7-11, keep walking & you will see At Home Hotel, turn right in the street next to it & you should see Amiga. We took the wrong turn at the wrong street and we just got lucky a very kind Korean drove us to Amiga seeing that we were obviously lost. I recommend this Inn. Good value for your money. :)

a quiet no frills hotel for a short stay
Very local hotel in interesting neighborhood near central Seoul. Not recommended for more than a weekend, but a good price for a comfortable bed. The staff was nice and spoke some English. I visit Seoul often and would stay here again for a couple of nights. Very basic but clean.
