Very welcoming! The staff are helpful, food is amazing. I travelled alone, but felt like I went with friends. I lucked out on some amazing roommates who I know will stay life long friends! Highly recommended! Will stat here no doubt any time I visit Victoria!

Comfortable. The mist like shower head is weird. Other than that, the experience is great.

Pretty great, if not the cleanest
Bed seemed a bit dirty, room decor was neat, great value with free dinner.

I like it.
One night. They provided both dinner and breakfast included with the already very affordable nightly rate. Friendly staff, comfy beds, and lots of other guests to have conversations with

Poor 2.0
Worst hotel management
The receptionist told me that they cancelled my reservation and didn’t let me in and kept my reservation money.

It worths to stay inexpensively if travelling solo
I was travelling solo and stayed overnight for an appointment only, and with no backpack. The 4th floor where I stayed seems to be recently updated and renovated, with very clean bathroom and is in excellent condition of the one I used. My bed is a dormitory type bunker, upper twin and lower double where I slept. The linen and blanket are OK with no bad odour. I encountered other weekly and monthly guests while in lobby area and on entering the building, and should be one of the considerations to decide on a stay in this inexpensive hostel. Some people may be smoking marijuana in the same building or in the street, and to me that is so uncomfortable. Guests like me are on the list for freebies, like cocktails or beer, simple dinner of rice and vegetable no meat, and bread & jam & butter, plus coffee. The downtown corridor was still not busy in Friday night that it rendered my stay a comfortable one with window slightly opened. 24-hour restaurants are within minutes of walk. The location is convenient to me.

Good 6.0
I didn't sleep a wink. I was on the road size and even with ear plugs it was loud. I felt uncomfortable in the area of the hostel. Luckily I was only there for a night.
