Convenient for a cheap night near Baltimore train station. Located in a rather poor area. The managers are barricaded in the office and you communicate through a narrow window. It gives a feeling of danger, although nothing bad happened during my stay.

Lord, this motel needs an upgrade! Sketchy neighborhood if traveling alone. No amenities like coffee, a microwave, a fridge, etc. Non smoking room, someone standing outside of my room, smoking a joint and muttering to themselves. I'll gladly spend the extra $ and get a Holiday Inn next time!! A hotel I stayed at in Queens last year was safer.

This Motel 6 is in a terrible part of Baltimore and there were none of the usual supportive enterprises such as eateries or any such facility nearby. While sitting in my car I was panhandled by a street person. I don;t know if it is common to have to submit a "deposit" before going to our room but I had to pay $40 up front before getting a key to our room. The room was clean but extraordinarily spare. There were no rugs, the temperature in the room the same as out door (48 degrees) and the only means of heating was a single wall attached air conditioner/heater which was inadequate to the task of providing heating. The bathroom was clean, the bed was uncomfortable and there was a single blanket on the double bed. We slept in our cloghes because of the bitter cold in the room. Do not go to this Motel 6. It is a miserable excuse for an overnight stay.

No closet or dresser to put clothes in. The entry door which faces the outside had a 1 inch gap where the cold air enters the room. Roaches in the bathroom. The bed was lumpy and each side of the bed had the body impression that this mattress has been used for numerous years without any change. Room was definitely neglected.

The Indian woman at the front desk was rude and demanded $100 in cash extra.. after I pleaded with her to let me in early due to my injury and disabled feet. Not only she refused but she threatened to call the police .This place is a huge dump.. full of drug attics and Gangster type hoidlems.. when I got there there was a small black guy urinating inside the entrance..she never gave me the room nor did she refund the room. I saw Gangster type youngsters giving her $100 bills. Stay away from this dump is dangerous.. ,gives motel 6 a bad and bad name.. it should be shut down..

Do not, under any circumstances, stay here. I knew exactly the type of place this was as soon as I drove in. I nearly gave them a chance but when I went to eat at a local restaurant, they confirmed my fears. This location is used for A LOT more than just a stay. Avoid entirely. There are other locations at the same or similar price that are significantly less dangerous. To add insult to injury, they require a $50 deposit (cash only) and the transaction fee is $5. Everything about this place is trash. I just stopped for one night for work. Had to change locations.

The staff was pretty unhelpful and rude at check-in. Tried to convince me that I didn't book what I did and upsell me on a more expensive smoking room with a king-size bed. He kept telling me that I "selected" a single bed in their system when I booked a double bed on Hotels.com. I refused to pay, but I still got a double room. They also require a $50 deposit they "usually give back" to be paid in cash, which I was not aware of upfront and only saw later, hidden in the small print. Don't worry if you don't carry cash like most people. They do have an ATM right there that you can take the money out from, and it will only charge you a fortune. Not shady at all. Fortunately, I had a branch of my bank nearby, and in the end, I got the whole deposit back in cash without an issue. The room was the bare minimum. A bed, a table, a coat hanger, and a TV. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the room was filthy. The bathtub had so much hair in the drain that the water went down very slowly.
