Great area, not so great room
The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the room itself was not what was expected. It could have been cleaner, the shower had almost no water pressure, and the hot water only lasted long enough for one person.

This Hostel is very dirty , we can not sleep in there (Hanoi evergreen hostel) we got out right away to find other hotels Manager of Hanoi Evergreen Hotel said the Expedia will be returning my money ($150.36) and I wrote to you about about that. This is not a new building. Almost nothing in the Old Quarter is - that's it's charm. The property has challenges due to age, but the staff managed any issues quickly and effectively. They were always helpful and informative, and arranged better prices for bookings than we could elsewhere. Overall - highly recommended.

Eco green hostel (Formally called Evergreen Hotel)
The room was quite dirty and smelly , but since the price was so cheep you get what you paid for. The location was central right in the middle old town (so a bit noicy as well). Nice service.
