Everything was great. If you’re looking for a traditional Bali experience I recommend going to another area. It is a five star experience nothing is missing it’s just a generic holiday resort. It was a beautiful place though and the beach was clean.

All the staff are so friendly and helpful from check in to check out! They made the two weeks very enjoyable! The main restaurant Garding is excellent and catered for Europeans, Aussies, Kiwis and all of Asia. I enjoyed the Indonesian food very much! The pools were awesome, clean, no chlorine smell and didn‘t hurt my sensitive skin. A wonderful way to get cooler! Really enjoyed this Hotel and would come again. Great for young families!

Room was dated and in need of maintenance. Room had that cheap hotel musty smell upon entry. Aircon was like a jet engine, even when on low. Super comfortable king bed made with queen sheets and 2 doonas?? The bathroom smelled of cat pee for the first 2 days. On the 3rd we requested better cleaning. Staff are all lovely and very helpful. My wife needed to use the in house wheelchair due an injury prior to arriving. Honestly, it looked like something a schoolchild put together from IKEA in the 70’s. (If they existed then??) For the older generations it looked (and operated) like a prop from ‘One flew over the cookoos nest’ Beach was amazing. Food was very good. Overall - a polarising experience that won’t see us return there anytime soon.

I had a fabulous stay at Merusaka. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely lovely throughout. My room was beautiful, and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything spotless each day. I really appreciated the option of an à la carte breakfast — the food was freshly prepared and the setting felt calm and relaxed. In contrast, the main buffet restaurant was quite crowded, and the variety and quality didn’t quite meet expectations. There were also a noticeable number of flies around the food. That aside, the grounds are stunning and the resort offers a great range of facilities, making it an overall enjoyable stay.
