Comfortable stay, improvement in service needed
The interior is much better than the building gives as assumption. The rooms were mostly modern. The breakfast was better than Eastern German rural standards. The description were available in English.
But: the arrival and service was a chaos.
There was nobody there and nothing prepared despite of the notice to fill in a form and pick the keys by ourselves. After calling and waiting for 15min a person showed up that told us there is neither a booking of us nor a payment taken (we booked a day in advance, so it's reasonable). We showed the confirmation of booking and payment taken from hotels.com and luckily got the keys. The hotel is clarifying. I hope the hotel improves its communication to hotels.com. Furthermore the heating didn't work sufficiently and it remained cold. The one in the bath room worked fine.
