Why I won't stay there again.
We only stayed long enough to basically take a $70 shower. Then the management came to inform us that our guests (my brother and sister) who had stopped by to see us while we were in town, needed to leave because it was too late in the evening yet we had been there only long enough to take a shower. Management then proceeded to threaten to call local law enforcement because we were "breaking city and state law" whatever that means. Horrible. End of story.

Worth it.
Very polite Owners. Spacious and private rooms. Surprisingly quiet. Towels are way too small. Poor water pressure from shower. Heater works awesome! Private balcony. No bugs or icky smells. Decent parking. The curtains could use some maintenance so they clip and cover all the way across the windows. Bottom line: DEFINITELY a great deal and worth the price of a room. I would recommend this place to others. (note: this was my experience in room 13.)

Smelled like cigarette smoke, mold in bathroom ,plywood covered back bathroom window, curtains were filthy, broken, zip ties to hold up,tape holding underside of bed up , bed had no mattress pad, didnt see bed bugs or would of left ,no way to bolt door, moved furniture in front of it.Very bad neighbor. We were too tired to start looking for a different hotel, used our hand sanitizer to wipe down toilet, knobs, light switches, etc. Dont stay here!

Definitely Not the Calico Cat Anymore CLEAN&QUIET!
This used to be a hotel known for prostitution and to steer clear of but new name and im giessin new ownership and a restriction on after hours guests has made for a huge makeover and other than a bit of an overzealous staff member incorrectly trying to say my boyfriend was a guest afterhours and she really had a hard time just letting her mistake go but we all have our days and i prefer the diligence to the previous leniency it was a great stay. One little complaint in that they tried to double the price for an additional night even after her mistake and having the actual room rate written on our checkin paperwork we knew that paying through them was significantly less expensive than with the app so we decided against it and used a reward night through hotels.com snd had a splendid night at the Clarion instead!
