Hotel is very clean, and has some great amenities. I very much appreciated the refills of body wash/shampoo, the complimentary water, and the towels being folded beautifully. My husband, and I opted for this hotel due to its wonderful reviews, and availability. One thing that I did not enjoy was not being informed about a dress code for the sky bar. We decided to go upstairs to grab a bite one Sunday night, but the lady at the front desk let us know that my husband’s choice of pants was not good enough for the bar. It was a beautiful day outside, in the mid 60s, so naturally we wore “airy clothes”. I’ve never been told to go back to my room, and change before. The whole ordeal kind of made us feel like second class citizens. Chino shorts/khakis are a business casual staple for warmer climates. My point is that it would’ve been nice to have had this information at hand before ever going up to the bar area. We even asked the receptionist for guidance on how to get up to the bar before going up.
Overall experience was still fantastic. The staff was very professional, and quick to assist with any and all needs. Hotel is a 15 min walk to the city center. It’s uphill so do keep that in mind if you’re someone with a disability. They offer airport transportations to and from the airport. We booked it for our return flight (4am pickup). Wonderful service. We were even offered coffee while we waited.
