Exceptional 10.0
Delicious breakfasts but only available 745-9 am which was a bit challenging with my schedule as I was inVictoria for work. The host was very attentive and accommodating. Very beautiful dining and sitting room. Not suited for people with mobility issues as the entrance and rooms involve sets of stairs.

Exceptional 10.0
Beautiful heritage building with great breakfast.
The excellent breakfast for two, which might easily have cost $50 at a restaurant, made this stay a bargain. A great place for people who appreciate heritage and don't mind foregoing a small bit of modern convenience to stay in a beautiful spot. Innkeeper Ryan was very helpful and clearly loves the place.

Charming historic b&b
Charming historic b&b, great location. Host Ryan was very welcoming. Our room was lovely, on top floor with many stairs but no issue for us. Great breakfast.

Perfect Slice of Eden
Our stay at the Amethyst Inn was truly a little slice of Eden among the busyness of life. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts prepared each morning by Serena, and the service provided by Ryan was amazing. He is a font of knowledge regarding all things Victoria! My husband and I stayed in the Duchess Suite and as someone who battles poor sleep, I was amazed to discover myself sleeping like a teenager. :D The location is perfect, with Ross Bay only a short walk away and multiple dining options also close by. (We recommend the Tartan Toque for some local flavour!) Oak Bay is near, if you desire tranquility and downtown Victoria is also not far, and always bustling. We will certainly be back, should we be so blessed as to return to Victoria in the future!
