Not what I expected but convenient for the holiday
This hotel was located in an excellent location to walk to Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park and Radio City to enjoy the holiday festivities. A few things I wish I was aware of before booking: The lounge and bar upstairs on the 40th floor is not part of the hotel. You are not allowed to have glass in your room even if you wanted to enjoy a nice bottle of wine purchased. The hotel credit at booking can only be used at the burger restaurant and or snack bar area in the lobby. As a VIP member, I was only allowed 1 free breakfast even though I had two people including myself in my reservation. Due to the time of the breakfast offered and excessively long lines to wait, I wasn’t able to use my two vouchers for complimentary breakfast. The air conditioning and heater in the room was excessively loud even with the fan on low and kept us up throughout the night. The gym was very small and only offered peloton bikes for use.

Be ready to pay more
This property is just okay. The bed and sheets and pillows are clean but not very soft to sleep in. The water pressure is great. They are VERY TINY rooms - like literally one step from the edge of the king bed and you're in the bathroom! I've never had a front desk person say - your room is ready but if I check you in prior to 2pm, you'll automatically be up charged $35.... and they will gladly give you a late checkout but will charge you it's $50 per hour if you ask for it... I just felt a little nickel and dimed and it was $675 for 1 night so it's not like it was cheap. The breakfast is also very bare bones but they basically throw in a $25 coupon to eat there so it doesn't seem quite as bad.

Ehh it's fine
It was okay. There are probably better hotels in the area at the same price range though. They give you a $25 credit for their grab-n-go section but don't really explain how to 'check-out' or that tax is not listed in the prices. The lobby is really small and typically crowded.

Worlds worse lifts tiny bedrooms
Hotel is in a great location. Rooms are incredibly small as are the beds.We are a family of 4 and wouldnt of coped in the rooms with the two tiny double beds. The hotel sorted us another room so we had the additional expense of another room but was worth it to be comfortable (we were there for 6 nights). Hotel lifts really let this hotel down terrible doesnt describe!. The lift situation is made worse by the fact 1 of the 3 lifts is roped off on an evening for the roof top bar. I find this poor beyond belief that they prioritise non guests that are spending a few dollars on cocktails rather than having all the lifts for all guests especially the ones that have paid thousands to stay. Lastly we have been home over a week and we are still waiting the deposit back for our rooms. I have emailed the hotel manager about this 4 days ago and have had no response. If you want a budget hotel in a good location and dont mind waiting 10 mins for a lift to arrive then id highly recommend, if not there are loads of other hotels in the same area
