The bed was very comfortable but other than that our experience was not good. Location was far from everything. We were there for 3 nights and the electricity went out 5 different times. The 3 numbers given to call after hours didn’t work. Another guest had to poke around Nd figure out how to turn the power back on. We thought this was a hotel based on the description on Expedia, but it seemed more like a poorly run AirBnB.

Struttura in rifacimento

Non abbiamo potuto soggiornare presso questa struttura perché in rifacimento. Siamo stati spostati presso altra in via del corso 22. Sfortunatamente ci hanno dato una camera molto buia perché senza finestre e con letto alla francese piccolo per 2. Visto il prezzo non possiamo lamentarci ma foto e aspettative sono state un po' deluse.

I recently stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it! The room was simple but comfortable with a TV, mini fridge, and a modern bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they cleaned the room daily. Location was great since I was a 10 minute walk from the Valle Aurelia train/metro station and just down the street from a bus stop; I liked being in the middle of apartments and that they gave you your own set of keys for the gate/door/room so you could come and go whenever you liked. Overall an amazing stay especially for the price! Highly recommend!!

Thin walls

The girl at the service desk was extremely helpful and friendly. These "suites" are an apartment that was subdivided into six rooms. While generally clean and comfortable, the biggest problem is that the walls are very thin. I could hear people talking in the next room with no problem at all, and they were just talking in a normal voice. Also, the mattress in our room was not very comfortable; it is time to get a new one. To get coffee you had to go outside to the reception area, and the coffee maker was pretty noisy. Since we had to leave at 4:30 in the morning, I'm sure the people in the other rooms didn't appreciate our making coffee.

My mom and I stayed 8 nights in the Vatican central suites and we were comfortable. I feel I got good value for the money spent. The suites are surrounded by other condos, or apartments and made me feel like I was another neighbor and not a tourist. You get a set of 3 keys (your room, the front door, and the main gate) and you come and go as you would at your own apartment without bumping into anyone since the help desk is only open between 9am-6pm and the place is not crowded. The elevator has a European design for 2 persons, and the clean marble floors of the stairs gave me a relaxed feel. The room itself was simple but comfortable and very clean with wifi and mini fridge. The AC works well, the bathroom looks like its been recently remodeled and has a bidet. The shower has modern features and, good water pressure. The location is super convenient since the bus#46 stop that takes you to the main attractions is across the street! And the train station is a 10 min walk (a bit hard to find but people help you find the way if you ask) I didn't spend money on taxis! The ladies at the front desk are very helpful and nice, they gave me a map and took the time to explain how to get to some of the locations.

Vatican stay

Highly recommend. The room is in perfect order, an easy 15min walk to the entrance of the Vatican, bus stop straight outside, subway a short walk, bakery and mart on the corner and helpful and friendly staff. Only suggestion would be better sound insulation around the door to the room, but that did not take away from the whole experience. It was also wonderful to sit on the balcony and have a coffee and pastry in the morning
