It was clean. The motel is very run down and needs a remodel. The carpet was worn away at the corner and exposed the concrete below. The location was the highlight and the only reason why I gave it 3 stars instead of being lower is because it was clean.

Great Location but needs maintenance
The location is great, it is across the street from Market Square and walking distance to the River Walk. I've stayed at this hotel many times before. However, it has reached the point where maintenance is needed. The door to my room needed to be slammed in order to close properly. The A/C was noisy all night and the shower/tub's paint was peeling.

Pleasant Stay
Over all it was good stay. Location was perfect. Walking distance to downtown/river walk and all the downtown fun stuff. We used the city bus service going around places. Saved a lot $$ on parking. Bus day pass is only $2.75 per person unlimited rides. Breakfast was decent. Building is old but the rooms were clean. Housekeeping is good. No complains. Staff is friendly.

The hotel was dirty and smelled. Our room was super smelly. AC started leaking and wetting carpet. Turns out they knew about problem and still put us in that room for a day. Loud music and expressway all night. SUPER OVERPRICED FOR AN OLD STINKY OUTDATED HOTEL!!
