Great find for London
We needed somewhere to stay after a theater evening. The Yotel was welcoming, friendly, clean, good room and an excellent buffet breakfast. The room wasn't big but was certainly more than adequate. Great value.

Ditch the stupid mood lighting.
This would have been a five star review apart from one thing. The stupid ridiculous mood lighting that kept coming on every hour during the night. Sometimes flashing like a night club. There was a remote control for the lighting but no instructions so I kept pressing random buttons until it went off. For exactly one hour. This woke my sleep SEVEN times during the night which was a real pity because the bed was really comfortable, the shower lovely and the towels felt luxurious. I could not see how to call reception from the phone to find out what was going on. I tried googling the answer but just found more complaints about the lights coming on in the middle of the night at random. There was a switch by the door that mentioned remote control sensors activating the lights which I had turned off, but it seems there is a second switch to kill the mood lighting but not marked as such. As I say a real pity because I got as terrible nights sleep and I really shouldn't have. When I mentioned this on checkout the guy was really dismissive.

Fun, cool, modern hotel.
Enjoyed my stay very much. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful with so many options. The gym, big with cardio machines, weight machines, and dumbbells among other things. Great location, six minute walk to the tube, and train. Neighborhood also had lots to offer with pubs, restaurants, grocery stores, and sites. Eco options if you wanted them for your room. I would stay there again, definitely!

We had a premium double room. Still very small. I can't imagine what the regular double room is like. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The toilet provides very little privacy as it is a blurred glass box in the center of the room. Everything feels automated and shiny. Very good location for public transport. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Not very homey and a tight space for two but it was all right

Great Stay
Lovely new hotel, nice bar, great breakfast and friendly staff at a good price for central London. Spotlessly clean with everything you might need available in your room. Quite and peaceful and check in and out was super quick and easy. Beware the toilet and shower were basically frosted glass boxes inside the room in some rooms and you can see the person you’re sharing with on the toilet a few feet from the bed - fine for a couple but maybe a bit uncomfortable if sharing with a friend!
