Disappointing
On arrival (mid October), I was advised that there was no restaurant service other than breakfast, and no bar. Room was clean and fresh, however I discovered a used towel on the radiator behind the Bathroom door. TV worked fine, but there was no remote. Bathroom fan worked well but was noisy, so may have upset neighbours, (electric) shower worked well, but was also quite noisy. It is clear that this is a seasonal hotel. And the season had ended, so few staff. Disappointing, as it could have been good I think if all the resources had been available.

The room was awesome, so clean, fresh and new. Love, love the shower! Donald MacDonald is a wonderful host with lots of information to share with tourists. (BTW, no lift!)

Small town hotel in beautiful location. Check in was easy and rooms clean, updated and comfortable. The restaurant wasn’t open for our stay but an easy walk to another location. Would recommend. No lift to rooms so might not be accessible if physical limitations.

The hotel was next door to the Exhibition Centre and within easy walking distance of the village. The room was comfortable and clean . It was good to have the cafe downstairs. Chief drawback...no lift for use when taking suitcase up and down

The only down part is that check in ends at 6:00 pm so if you are traveling and you plan to arrive later is a bit of a problem because you need to call a number and for those traveling with an international mobile is not posible. The good thing is that we arrived at 9pm and the staff were still closing the cafeteria and we were able to check in. 15 minutes later and it would have bern a problem. Other wise, the Hotel is conveniently located to visit the area.

I would not stay here again. It was booked last minute and husband refused to move after a long day. The room was dark and dingy. It echoed with air conditioning sound only there was no air conditioning. It smelt damp. The only positive thing I can say is that it was clean.
