Love the place, great location! Bad neighbors.
Our first room had a non working deadbolt. They did change our room, no problem. But the couple above us played music and were up until 4:30 a.m. couldn’t sleep.

Great stay!
Great location for our trip and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were there for three nights.
Helen went out of her way to help us with a few items and even let us get a glass of juice in the evening that is usually available for breakfast.
Easy to get in and out of property. Enjoyed the stay.

We went to get into bed and found a huge stain on the sheets. Was moved to another room only to find it also unclean.

My Go To Place When In Boston
The Boston Hotel is my go to motel when spending an overnight for Boston College Football games and other school events. Affordable and right on the T Green B Line Train as well as close to the school and then downtown Boston via the T. Amazing and thoughtful staff headed by Helen on the night shift. The place is clean and offers breakfast in the AM. While not the lap of luxury, who needs that when you just need a place to lay your head at night that is affordable and that has a staff that cares about your stay, plus there is parking if you need it. Just park in front of your room and walk in without hassling with elevators or other guests. Make your reservation and give it a try for a clean and comfortable stay without all the frills except for a good night sleep, a friendly staff and good breakfast and coffee near BC and Boston without breaking the piggy bank to stay there. Spend your money at great restaurants in the North End or South Boston or elsewhere like I do instead of on expensive hotels and don’t forgot to tip the help staff for having your place ready for you upon arrival, etc. “For Boston. For Boston. We sing our proud reframe!” Enjoy your stay!

Just ok
The radiator makes sleeping a challenge for a light sleeper like me. I would have appreciated the use of fabric softener on the towels, as I have sensitive skin. Breakfast selection could be better, especially the bread ( only white) .

Would stay again
The staff was great, helpful with our questions and addressed the one concern with had promptly. We wanted a hotel close to the college so we did not mind that it was slightly dated. There was a lot of noise from other customers but overall we would stay again!

Good option for type of hotel property
Very clean place. Comfortable bed. Good internet. Decent breakfast with lots of options. Staff nice. Parking not included! $25/day even though the property is surrounded by parking spaces. (Their own lot.) Seemed a bit chinzy. Otherwise, good option for type of hotel, 2 star meaning not a lot of extra amenities. There is a great gym a 5 min walk away where you can purchase a day or short term pass.

We arrived the night we were supposed to check in and for some reason my booking got canceled even though I had called the hotel to confirm it. Both Expedia and the hotel blamed each other but truth is I had no hotel for that night.

Convenient and adequate
Room was cute and cozy. Front desk personnel very friendly and helpful.
Room horribly hot when arrived and somewhat uncomfortable. Shower not too good.
Very nice to have breakfast included. Wish there had been gluten/free options; unfortunately was unable to eat anything.
Location very convenient to the T. Also a Whole Foods in the area.
Overall a nice enough place.

Hardly ok
The hotel were ok, but not much more than that. There were a strange smell of bitter almond in the room. And you cools hear the neighbour alovera at 3 am…
The best was the closness to the tram/subway.

This a motel not a hotel. It’s a single room with a very old lumpy bed, a table, old t.v. And old grimy bathroom. It did have a decent closet and kitchenette with microwave and fridge. The hotel has NO amenities. “Breakfast” was horrible self serve. With few healthy options. Also the room has no outlets around the desk or bed.

Horror shower
The shower was the worst experience imaginable. The shower would trickle then after 5 minutes of that, it would blast you with scalding hot water, then go back to a trickle, then burst you with freezing water. It was possessed. Took 30 minutes just to rinse the soap amd shampoo. Staff couldn't care less!!
