Room for improvement
One of two rooms was not ready, walked in to find trash and no beds made. There was no soap or body wash in either room during the stay. According to the front desk the manager was on vacation for 2 weeks and they did not have approval to order. Loud barking dogs next to one room. Unfortunately, not a great highlite to the nice hotel. The rooms however were a great size and the hotel was clean. Great breakfast and staff.

It was fine, but temper expectations for Amarillo
Pool was very cold but the hot tub was way too hot. The sauna was broken. The freezer inn the snack area was broken. The downstairs bathroom had the heater inn high the entire trip.

Horribly ran hotel
Room had not been serviced when we checked in at 6pm. Was given a complimentary appetizer coupon for the inconvenience. However, we ordered room service from the provided menu in the room only to be called back 15 minutes later that the menu changed and they are only serving the late night menu on weekends. In was 6:30 in the evening. We elected to go out instead. The Hydration Station” on our floor had no ice and the water was warm and tasted like it was straight from an outdoor hose. In the morning we tried to take showers and there was no hot water. We asked for a manager while checking out and there was non available. Strange that there’s no management present, but not surprising given how poorly the hotel is ran. Was promised a call back by the front desk manager that never happened. I want my money back.

The hotel was wonderful very clean the bed was very comfortable the shower was great wonderful water pressure. Only thing was they did not have much amenities. Why hotels have shampoo and conditioner I don’t understand who washes their hair for a one or two night stay. They need to have body wash and lotions
