The room had no hot water so I had to move to a new room. The second room never got warm, but we stayed in that room. When I checked out the gentleman at the desk charged my credit card for the room, even though I had paid from hotel.com. So, I paid twice and had to call back to try and get my refund.

Meh....
To start they couldn't find our reservation, so after ten minutes of looking wr gave up and just booked a room. Luckily they weren't full. This hotel is fine for a night or two but that is it. It was very small for a two queen room. No storage at all, not even a closet. No microwave, coffee maker, nothing. Shower was super small and had nowhere to put your shampoo/conditioner/bodywash. No dresser to put clothes. Was very cramped, blankets super thin, bed was a wobbly mattress on a platform, no support. Glad we brought pillows because the ones provided were the size of throw pillows and you'd need four of them to be remotely comfortable. I liked the location and the price but wouldn't stay there again. Free breakfast was pretty lame compared to other hotels as well. Not impressed.

There was an error where my room was booked for 5 nights, instead of one. I was charged for all 5 nights, even when I tried to check out. I stayed one night, tried to check out the next day and was told I was unable to. But once the manager was back that they could correct and refund this. Once the manager was back they refused to correct the issue, even when Expedia tried to contact them to fix it. I will never stay at this location again.

Clean, modern, basic. They have an indoor pool nd a pool table in the lobby, which is nice to see. Shampoos and lotions in the rooms are really good, looking online to buy them for home. No closets in the rooms so if you are staying a while, there's not much room to hang things. Bottle filler near the lobby for water is a great convenience. Breakfast is what you'd expect for free, the eggs and sausage were so hideous, even worse than other hotels I've seen. But they had pancakes, oatmeal, yogurt, etc. One thing is the TV is really basic, we could not connect to the internet/Netflix/YoutubeTV via our firestick, it's just Dish Network. Also no coffee maker or microwave in the room. Not deal breakers, but something to be aware of. We travel a lot, we'd stay at a Tru again for a night probably, but not longer than that due to the closet and TV issue.
