The property initially looked beautiful but after looking around everything was filthy. There were food splatters all over the wall behind the stove and we never cooked anything. Doors and cabinets needed cleaning. The baseboard in the bedroom looked like someone spilled coffee on it. We were on the first floor and most of the windows were unlocked when we got there. Some didn’t even lock!! We had set a few new bags of chips on the counter and the next morning there was rat poop all over the counter and stove and they had shredded the chip bags. I know it was not a mouse because the poop was the size of a sunflower seed! We threw all our food away and wiped down the counter but it shows up the next day! The company offered to move us to the room across the hall but rats are in the building not just one room. They also offered a room two miles away but is was less than 24 hours before we were leaving and to pack up 4 people would have been a pain. The people upstairs were loud and banged around quite a bit and we woke up every morning at 3 am to trucks emptying dumpsters that sounded like they were right outside our window. Had the place been clean and rodent free I could have let the noise go but it just added to my disgust. They refunded $50 for the inconvenience after sending them pictures of the rat poop but that wasn’t even worth time time it took me to complain.

Clean and convenient
Clean, comfortable and great location. I think someone was giving a hippo tango lessons upstairs, though. It’s irritating that they make us not only pay for my own TV source (e.g. Hulu), but mow also pay for Chromecaster just to watch TV at the end of the day. Also note that the ground floor looks out into a parking lot and sidewalks, so you have to keep the curtains closed if you don’t want to feel like you’re in a fish bowl. Otherwise, it’s a fine place to stay.

Only thing that was disappointed about was that there was no recycling at the place. Love the ability to walk to most places like restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, clothing stores and close to bus stop. Taxis were easy to find and get a hold of. Just would like to see a recycling bin. Love the area and the fact there was a Dunkin' Donuts across the street. Love the fact Martin's BBQ was just down the street. It was very easy to get around and people in the area very friendly. Love Nashville Tennessee and love the area a whole lot. Nice place and would recommend. Just wish there was recycling around!

2/10 Poor

Definitely not worth the money…poor customer suppo
The beds were hard like very hard. The shower had absolutely no water pressure. The house has extremely thin walls and so the noise from the other units is very loud. This is a first floor apartment. The biggest issue I had was that the tv was not working so I called for assistance. They said they would send someone within 12 hours and asked if it was ok for someone to come in while we were out and I said no. Then they CAME IN ANYWAY!!! I spoke to a Sonder rep who apologized but it didn’t change the fact that they entered after I explicitly asked them not to

Could’ve been great.
It was a cool place and clean but it could use a coat of paint. The heat didn’t work so well, investigating on the last day I found the filter blocked with dirt. Also, we were in apt number 1 on the first floor and found most of the windows unlocked. Yikes

So much to like about this property, it was updated, modern, clean and in a really good location. It was extremely noisy but I could live with that as I had read about it in previous reviews. The reason I would not choose to stay here again is that both beds were extremely uncomfortable. The master bed is shockingly form and I eventually choose to sleep there. But the full size bed is like a futon mattress it feels softer but offers no support. The couch was not comfortable either. I will say that communication was awesome and customer service from Sonder was great when we had a request about late check out. If the beds were even somewhat comfortable I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The photos of the property looked better than the actual place. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness as hair was found in the shower when we arrived, there were dark marks on the linen, spots on the cutlery and it felt as if the floor needed to be vacuumed. The place needed/needs a deep clean. The wifi had weak security which made it unsafe for us to use and impossible to use the tv. The record player (which we were excited to use) was missing its needle so it’s essentially useless and more for show. The bedroom outlets are located behind the beds and out of reach. The walls are thin so when the neighbors were walking upstairs it sounded like they were in our apartment. On a positive note, the security, check in, and check out process was great.

Overall experience was good. Pretty clean except the bathroom tub is getting moldy due to no exhaust fan. Access to the building is easy and secure. We were able to find a free parking spot most of the time on the street in front of the building so that was nice. Walls are thin so if your sleeping on the pullout couch the neighbors will keep you awake. I was suprised the only option for watching tv was streaming it from your phone.

Well we arrived in Nashville on Tuesday night 10:30 PM local time. My wife has a habit of checking the beds for being clean sheets. On the king bed there was body fluid stains on the bottom sheet. the queen bed had. Dirty sheets on it. I called customer service very nice lady answered the phone. Due to the lateness of the day the cleaning staff was no longer available. They did send out freshly pressed sheets the following morning. And we arrive that evening we made the beds only to find the new sheets had blood stains on them. I’m very sad for this company having people that just don’t care. Pictures are available. And I would be glad to forward them to you. Some sort of compensation would be greatly appreciated for a sleeping on the couch in our of clothes the first night and then to make up the beds the second night using clean sheets and existing sheets.

It was a very convenient location and a very nice apartment, clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked. I was disappointed that the drain in the bathtub wouldn’t stay open and the double sink on the left was clogged and extremely slow to drain. On street parking is sometimes difficult. Other than those minor problems it was a very comfortable setting.
