No A/C two nights in a row. Front desk could’ve cared less. I was told the manager of the building would call me. It’s been a week. Thank god we brought an extra fan for the dog. Still woke up drenched in sweat. Awful experience. Will not be back.

Great , updated rooms with clean bathroom and excellent view of the ocean. No smoke smell and quiet overnight stay. Not sure why this is a 2 star hotel. The outside walkways and fencing could use some sandblasting rather than just a coat of paint. However, this is an older hotel and they have done a great job getting it back up to a nice standard for guests. Would stay again if looking for a decent hotel on a budget. (Note: this was "budget" for a big festival weekend. It was still a bit over-priced, in my opinion.)

The Howard Johnson at Ocean City Boardwalk was a breath of fresh air for the two of us! From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and efficient, the property clean and peaceful, and this area of the boardwalk calm and inviting! It is the end of September and with a Sunday afternoon arrival, the weekend visitors had exited prior to our arrival. This was the perfect time and the perfect place to stay for our getaway! Thank you Howard Johnson for some much needed peaceful time, comfy beds, welcoming balcony, and beautiful oceanfront view! We’ll be back!

The hotel room was updated but the rest of the hotel looks old. I did like the view from the ocean front room. I didn’t like the setup of the bathroom with the sink outside from the shower and toilet. The breakfast at the satellite cafe is probably the worst breakfast food I’ve ever had. I would recommend going off site for breakfast. The staff that I can in contract was friendly. The only reason I chose this hotel is because it’s pet friendly. I will most likely not be staying here in the future.

Property was very clean. Staff were very nice! We did have an issue with dogs in the room above us (I love dogs) but they were very large and seemed to be left alone a lot- the ran for hours on end and through the night. The hotel staff assisted. :)
