Lost my Drivers license
The room was not very well cleaned before we got there. There were, it looked like coffee splashed on the bathroom wall and spoiled food in the refrigerator. The power was flickering in the lobby when we got there. I gave the desk clerk my Driver's License when I got there on Tuesday but with all of confusion from the power drops, I did not get it back. I noticed it was missing on Wednesday and went to the front desk to ask about it. The lady working could not find it and the guy that took it was not available. I checked back and was told that they mailed it back to my home address, it is now Sunday and it has not arrived.

Don’t go there
The place was very noisy. The walls are thin and you can hear everything. The cleaning crew has absolutely no respect for being quiet they slam doors. They scream at each other from one corner to the other, and they’re just very noisy and needs lots of repairs.

Great base camp
Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We were in the area hunting and was using the hotel as a base camp and resting station. It was great. There was a small issue with the TV. But I let the front desk know and they offered to put us in a different room but the problem wasn't big enough for us to move rooms.

If you like no frills, this is your place!
Well, it was a warm shower with a bed and blankets. No fluff. A little pricey, but it is Taos. We were able to park outside the front door each time we left. Breakfast was coffee/tea, cereal, fruit, yogurt and waffles. Upon walking into our room, the lights were on and the toilet "sanitized" cover was askew, so maybe someone took one look at the room, used the bathroom and said no thanks! There was hair on the bed and no remote or local channels to watch, once I figured out there was a button on the TV to turn it on. Our door was a little rickety, but had that security arm to hold it when we were inside. When we came down the stairs the next morning, there was an open can of beer on the stairs. But like I said, no frills. if you need a shower and a place to rest your head, this is your hotel.

The rooms were small and a noisy hotel. There were people smoking marijuana every night for my entire 5 night stay in the parking lot and near the lobby entrance, which stunk enormously.
