Hotel Staff with no desire to be helpful.

The staff was INCREDIBLY Rude and unhelpful. Upon arrival they blamed us for not getting joining rooms, even though I had called a week prior and gotten them confirmed. Then when our shampoos were filled with water and we had no soap, the front desk said “we don’t have any soap” same response when asked for lotion. “We don’t have any” but the cleaning carts did have them… and they gave us some. They told us they were “out” of complimentary waters and that they hadn’t seen the manager in over a week to order more. The convenience store inside was completely out of stock of basically everything. And when we tried to purchase waters no one was at the front desk. We waited 10 minutes and left. No one seemed to ever be at the front desk. No laundry detergent on sight to do laundry, so we had to purchase some from Walmart. One day we asked the front desk to make sure our room would be cleaned as it hadn’t the day before (no we didn’t put the sign on the door) and they said “they couldn’t because their cleaner only had a set amount of hours and she couldn’t have any overtime” which that may be true… but at least offer me some fresh towels/etc. don’t just leave me out of luck. The staff just seemed to not want to do anything to make your stay comfortable. They do not care. We typically stay at Marriott’s because they are top of the line but this honestly felt like a motel 6. Super sad.

While the room was in good condition breakfast was a disappointment. Our room was booked for 3 but they only gave us breakfast for 2. They did not have coffee in the lobby or available if you did not have a voucher. Very disappointing!

God forbid you just wear socks around at 6AM

I enjoyed the stay up intil my 5th of 6 mornings. Got up at 6 for breakfast before work, and wore my usual “Early Morning Hotel Breakfast Attire”… PJs, a comfy shirt, and socks. Front Desk Lady said with the rudest attitude “You need to go back and put on shoes”. Out of the nearly 100 hotels I’ve stayed at (and even the previous 4 mornings at this very hotel), no one’s ever cared about wearing socks instead of shoes. I wouldn’t have even cared about this incident if she didn’t have such a horrid attitude about it either.
