First Visit to Key West = AWESOME
We stayed at the Palms for our first-ever visit to Key West, and would return there again when we come back to Key West for future visits. Located in a quiet area near the center of Key West, with easy walk/bike options to reach most areas of interest within 15-30 minutes, with most all sites less than a mile from the hotel. Nice breakfast by the pool every morning (see picture). Staff were friendly and helpful when needed!

It was a cute Hotel but, it was very noisy with the ice machine right in front of our room and the room was super tiny, but it was very clean.

Great hotel
Loved the hotel, rooms were small but because we weren't there to hang out in the rooms it was fine. Clean rooms! I was looking for a hotel near Duval but this one was a bit far.

Hotel was beautiful as it has been during previous trips but there was no hot water this time. Unless you took a shower at some obscure time of the day, it was cold. Other than that it was great.

Fantastic find and fantastic service in key west.
First time at the Palms in key west. Overall a very good stay. It is quiet and clean and the beds are comfy. It’s @ 25 minute walk to Duval street (@ $5 Lyft/Uber ride). They also have bikes that you can rent for $18/day. TV in room with streaming services. The best part of this place is the service- my husband wanted to watch a college football game during our stay and unfortunately it was only on ESPN which did not come in on the hotel TV. Ja’ire (sorry for misspelling!) the front desk man went above and beyond in order for us to be able to watch the game - he contacted the owner and they added espn so we could watch the game. It really made the night for my husband and allowed us to watch an amazing game between ND and Penn State. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in key west.

Room and facilities were great but my room faced the busy street so heard traffic all night as well as a rooster crowing. Hotel is quite a distance to walk to Duval Street and other attractions. Closest dining was a food truck called Pescado which had excellent fish tacos.

Charming
The Palms is charming and friendly. But be aware that it’s a very old building and has its quirks. We had a very small room and tiny bathroom but it had the essentials. There’s no heat if it’s cold. The breakfast was fine. The location was good for our tourist purposes, in a nice neighborhood. We were glad to have stayed there.
