Beautiful vacation!

Our stay at Majestic was great!. The resort is very nice and clean. There are some signs of wear, especially in the rooms and the attention to detail is lacking for a 5 star resort. The room size and layout was amazing, however. We had a few hiccups on check in that had to be worked out and did not get into our room for 3 hours after arrival. It all worked out in the end with a great relaxing vacation. Staff was really nice, except, for some reason the restaurant waiters. They acted like they were being bothered to take our order. Our butler, Wilber, was awesome and even surprised us for our anniversary with a special room decoration. Food was mostly good, with the buffet being the least appealing. The daily beach barbeque was amazing and ended up being our lunch almost every day we were there. We did enjoy the spa and it was fantastic! The beach was picture perfect!

Beautiful resort, awful service

Hello, this was the worst vacation we have ever taken. I reported all of these events to multiple people including Jamie & Jose. Both state they are the managers of the hotel. It started when we checked in and Edith called me a Puta Loco. I was trying to check in my elderly parents and myself and Edith was so rude and impatient with us. Very unorganized. We then had broken glass in the pool which I cut myself on. On Saturday, we were due to check out but wanted to stay an extra day. I spoke to Obiedy that morning and he said they would let us stay the evening for $600 and I agreed. At 2 p.m. that same day Jose came barging into my room. I did not let him in. I was barely dressed and my 3 year old was naked. For at least 5-10 minutes I asked Jose to please talk to Obeidy and leave my room. I told him I felt very uncomfortable. He wouldn't not leave. I told him over and over again and finally threatened to call the Police. He finally left. We got the room figured out finally. The next morning upon checkout I told Jamie about all of the issues we had. She was so rude, inconsiderate and didn't care. He came into my room with no permission I have never felt so unsafe and scared.

We booked our Main Pool Family Swim Up rooms (2) and had to argue to get ours. Moved us to Adult section. Daughter came next day with a 13 and a 14yo. They also were put in adult section swim up room, because the girls were not 18 they could not use the pool. So the expense of having pool access and not able to use was annoying. Our butler Fransisco tried everything he could to get us moved to the family pool as we had booked. Fransisco went above and beyond for us to make our stay enjoyable. He decorated our grandaughters room for her birthday ( AMAZING JOB). If you book Majestic Mirage ask for Fransisco for your butler. Can not say enough about him.

Food was pretty good for all inclusive. Beach and pool are 5 stars but close at 6pm. If they were open til 8 it would be much better. Casino should be expanded or redone. They need a true room service app like moon palace. English language gap is noticable but managable. App would solve a lot of miscommunications. Shows and themed nights are great but a little repetitive. Overall great experience and would recommend to others

Absolutely loved the resort and our Butler Omar was great. There is plenty of staff on hand to take care of literally everything you need. Only downside was the people hounding you trying to sell things. And sell them at a ridiculous price. They would actually get business if they were reasonable. I will be back to the Majestic Mirage!

We really loved our stay at the Majestic Mirage. The dining options were numerous and the food was wonderful. There were also numerous bars on the property that were fully staffed, you never waited for your drink. The property was very walkable including down to the beach. The beach area and pool area were very well maintained and we never had trouble finding a place to sit at either. The only issue we ran into had to do with our room. We had booked a regular room in the adults only portion of the resort which was supposed to have a balcony hot tub. Upon arrival, we were “upgraded” to a top floor room with a roof top hot tub and day bed, which had a wonderful view and large really great space. However, our hot tub did not work, it would not fill with water. We alerted our butler and somehow he filled the hot tub (we did not see, but we are assuming with a hose) as the fix, but then the water was quite cold and not desirable to use. So, we never got to use our personal hot tub on our stay which was disappointing as we were looking forward to that and one of the reasons we chose this resort. However, despite the hot tub issue, we really enjoyed our stay at this resort. It was clean, everyone was very friendly, and the food was outstanding. We would definitely book here again and look forward to doing so in the future.

Pros: Decent food at the buffets. Hotel staff pretty nice Nice beach Cons: Far away from downtown area. Will cost you $40 one way. Rooms need renovation, jacuzzi jets rusted, sliding door handle came off, dirty floors, and several other cosmetic issues. Butler service isn’t what was expected. The whole week there seen butler twice in passing. Huge language barrier. A lot of hustlers on the beach to the point you can’t relax without being bothered. Food isn’t good in the restaurants outside of the Japanese. Steakhouse steaks not flavorful or tender. Overcooked seafood.

The beach is perfect. The water is calmer and there is almost no seaweed. Majestic Mirage is the only punta cana resort that didn’t make us sick. It’s a win!
