Our 4 nights stay for a second year in a row to this beautiful hotel was overall great. We need to highlight the best service from the staff which made our stay enjoyable. From Adonis at Guest Service, the restaurants crew, Yafreisy, Maximo, Emmanuel (chef) Carina over in building 14 guest services, can't remember everyone's name but everybody always with a smile ready to assist.

We had a great experience during our stay. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. Adoni was also very helpful. There was some maintenance needed in our room and some cleanliness that could be improved on but overall it was very fun and the food is great.

Bad experience at the Royalton Bavaro!

It was a bad experience, from the hotel staff to the guest. Majority of the guests were white, while my family was of color we were followed around by hotel security. One night of few other guests followed and verbally harassed me and my family while security did nothing. The next night I come out of my room and there’s a man urinating on my door. Mind you we had little girls in our rooms. We complained but nothing happened. The staff was rude, and often we had to wait long times for any services we asked for. I would hate for anyone to go here and spend money to be treated the way we were. It’s not worth the stay here.

O ar condicionado ficava ligado 24h e tem toalhas na área da piscina para uso. Bastante opções de comidas, sobremesas eram apenas bonitas e pouco saborosa. Mas tinha sorvete que era muito bom e frutas.

Experience not worth the money

Japanese restaurant had awful service and terrible food, sashimi was in huge pieces and not small slices as it should be, also the salmon did not taste fresh, we had stomach ache after eating there. Sink in our room was broken and smelling bad. The shower did not have shampoo and soap when we arrived, did not seemed very well cleaned. Anything required in the room would take very long time and sometimes not answered at all.

We stayed for 5 nights. Everyone was very helpful. Any of the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. The only thing I would say that needs updating is the quality of cleaning in the rooms. Some things need to be replaced as they are broken or highly stained. Other than that it was an extremely relaxing and pleasant stay.

Service at this resort was terrible. Over an hour in line to check in and it was not busy. Housekeeping first day came at 5pm after calling 4x’s. Every time you would ask for assistance no one would help. Called for extra pillows and blankets and no one came. Most staff were not friendly. Hunter’s steakhouse meal was a disaster. Meals were all wrong and steak not cooked as requested. Staff seemed confused and not organized. We went to buffet and it was supposed to be open until 10pm but it was shutting down and there was hardly any food at 9pm. We spoke to other guests and everyone said how the service has gone downhill here so it was not just our experience. We would not return.
