White Water Walk has the rapids of Niagara River rushing by with Class 6 speed and many close-up observation areas to stop and take in the billowing, natural sounds. The walk includes informational plaques about Niagara Gorge, telling all about its formations, plants, and animal life—anything you might see on your journey through the rapids.

Likely the last remaining trip of its kind and suspended 200 feet above the water with 6 strong cables, the Whirlpool Aero Car is available to ride over the walk, showing the rapids as well as the Niagara Gorge from unbelievable heights and providing unparalleled sights.

Eateries at White Water Walk

The closest, most affordable place to eat by White Water Walk during golf season is the spacious, pub-style Whirlpool Restaurant, offering a forest backdrop at Whirlpool Golf Course on Niagara Parkway. The food is prepared with expertise by Chef Tim Vandelaar and is part of the Feast On programme by Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance, which asserts the cuisine’s excellence.

For an even more relaxed atmosphere, Hi-Lite Restaurant on Queen Street is vintage-style with all-day breakfast and lunch, serving a range of staple foods from eggs to burgers. If you’re in the mood for French food, Paris Crepes Cafe is also on Queens Street.
