Nightlife in Ubud nightlife is a stark contrast to Bali’s southern resort areas. You’ll hardly find nightclubs with international DJs spinning deep bass and techno, but the town serves up a more relaxing ambience and a traditional atmosphere.
The uplands of Bali are excellent for those looking to break away from crowded nightclubs and bars. There are a few late-night cafes, quaint bars and performance stages if you’re into live music. Some venues cater to the pub and social gathering scene, but Ubud’s nightlife scene is mostly easy-going.
The nightlife in Ubud may not be particularly famous since the area's better known for its relaxing ambience and quiet, traditional atmosphere. Even so, there are several corners of this village that prove there can be a bit of life in Ubud after dark – and that there’s more to enjoy beyond the rice terraces and temples.
