Room 237, shower curtain rod is installed backwards so it curves into the shower. Other shower had peeling paint above it. Person checking us in gave us less than desirable directions to our room (sent us to building C/D by saying "straight back", not "right" to building B). I have stayed in this hotel many times since I was diagnosed with cancer. It is refreshing to go to a hotel that still has toiletries and breakfast. To go to a hotel that has comfortable beds and soft sleeping sheets it’s comforting. The proximity to Md Anderson and the price is very good. The hotel is old and has been renovated in some areas but needs updating on others. Overall I’ll continue to stay in this hotel.

Checking in/out was gr8! Staff member very friendly & professional. Rooms outdated. Our room did not have anywhere to hang up our clothes. No counter space so we used the Handicap seat (that was off balance missing a leg cover) as counter space. Mildew stains on ceiling. Bottom part of AC unit falling apart. Beds were comfy. Rooms have a refrigerator, a microwave, coffee pot, iron & ironing board. Their continental breakfast is awesome! Motel is mediocre for an overnite stay. Reasonable priced and It’s also walking distance to NRG stadium. And there’s a Mexican restaurant next to motel, their food delicious.
