The front office staff was excellent Rick made us feel very welcome .
very close to highway very nice staff in morning nice breakfast
Found hair in the bed and bathroom. Person next door had a dog that wouldn’t stop barking. Called the front desk several times-no one would answer. Hot breakfast had no hot eggs. Pay a bit more and stay somewhere else.
I reserved a room with a micro wave and fridge. Upon check in the desk clerk said my room had not micro and fridge and he could not change the room because it was booked through Hotels. com. Eventually he did move me to a room with the amenities. Upon entering the room, I had to re-wipe all surfaces. No, not due to covid, but in general the surfaces needed more cleaning. The microwave are had crumbs around it and the microwave was left dirty, another area I I had to clean. The black out curtains had holes and part of the curtains were dangling. After wiping down, I proceeded to turn up the thermostat, the wall mount was loose. In the bathroom, the blow dryer had the same problem,. The blow dryer actually fell out of the wall when I tried to use it. Surprisingly with all of those items needing better repair or attention the bedding and towel were nice. The towel and wash cloths were thick and the betting was clean. Although mask were required in the hotel, I noticed the person cleaning the room across the hall did not wear a mask nor gloves. Breakfast was not available due to covid. Fresh towels and trash removal had to be requested. Plus side, the room was very quiet and convenient to many locations. You get what you pay for.
To start with, we couldn’t park near our room because the lights didn’t work and there was a car load of shady looking people parked in the handicap spot smoking. We were too afraid to even get out of the car so we parked back up front. The room was not clean. There was a dirty footprint on one of the beds. A charger was left behind in the desk chair but not discovered by housekeeping indicating lack of cleaning. Furthermore, a water bottle cap was found in the floor indicating lack of proper cleaning. If that wasn’t bad enough, my 9 and 10 year old sons found condoms in the nightstand drawer and brought them to me asking what they were. I was appalled. The air conditioner wouldn’t run at all so we opened a window and that’s when we discovered that our ground floor level window had no lock on it. Needless to say, both boys were so scared to sleep in the room because of finding “nasty stuff” in the drawer and a window that wouldn’t lock that they both thought they had to sleep with me. After they went to sleep, I got in the other bed in hopes that it would be more comfortable but it wasn’t. Both mattresses were so worn that you just sunk in to them and couldn’t get out and the foot of the bed was at least 6 inches taller than the head of the bed... I’ve never been so disappointed in my life. When I reported these details at checkout, there was not even a “I’m sorry.” He simply stated that he would tell the manager and thanked me for prepaying and said to have a nice day...
The hotel was very clean and quiet. The shower was nice and hot and was a huge comfort after a day of traveling. The staff were very friendly as well. No breakfast, because of COVID, but there are many breakfast options close to the property. I would stay here again!
first time in Las Cruces, enjoyed the short visit a lot
It was average, nothing out of the ordinary but it was peaceful and the room and bedding clean which is more important to me
The service was good. I expected the rooms to be newer. It would be good if the hotel can upgrade and service the rooms.
Cockroach crawling on the closet door. Maid just walked right into my room while I was trying to sleep. Worst stay of my entire life. My reward booking was completely wasted.
