Terrible
I missed my flight connection in Medellin which meant I would arrive to the hotel at 6am dying for a bed.
Knowing that they’d make me a no show if I didn’t show up before midnight:
- I phoned them numerous times between 7 and 9 pm, no one picks up and voicemail is full
- I message them thru Expedia app letting them know that I’d check in 6 am
- I sent an email to reception with the same
I arrive at the hotel and guess what? My room was gone. The super professional staff in the night shift doesn’t bother to pick up phone, to check email, to pick up Expedia portal messages… what is it that they actually do? Mystery
As a result I was room less until, no refund compensation offered - I have now raised a complaint thru Hotels.com - and that’s what you get in this joke of hotel.
It’s fair to say that the morning staff did try to help and was rather nice, they just could not kick someone out of a room and the night staff incompetency was not their fault. I’m very thankful to the morning receptionist, he was great, he managed to get me breakfast at least.
Anyway, this was my experience at this place
