We thought it was 4 stars. We arrived at 11:50Pm, could not do check in because front office went to buy dinner. Asked for breakfast,, since we paid for. Front guy told us that there was not such a thing, we could go anytime for a free breakfast/lunch/ dinner at next door restaurant. Next morning front desk told us we were late and l not telling the truth. We had a witness so they will ask manager. Manager never came to work. Day before we leave because we asked, they said that they will reimburse us, never happened. Mattress are very hard. Noise from downstairs restaurant starts at 9Am. bathroom doors are slate closets doors, no privacy at all. balcony sealed, so there is not ventilation. Hallways, not ventilated have strong weed smell. Elevator is very- very slow. Place 2 start at most. At nights streets walkers meet at the corner pizzeria.

Discount Stay on Sobe
So it's sobe... do the tourist thing and get it out of your system as I doubt I'll be back. For the price, this place was ok. The people working there are great and really helpful but the place bills you out like its a Spa. It's not a spa. The pool is a big as a hot top but without heat. There is a cafe right next door that jams the music starting friday morning and it surrounds the tiny pool. The rooms are really small but the pillows, beds and sheets are comfy. I would have given it 5 stars for comfort but they had no microwave as was shown in the room pictures. The street rooms are noisy with crappy thin old windows. The bathroom was large enough and fairly nice with plenty of hot water but low on pressure. The hotel is centrally located and on a less busy street. It's easy to get to collins or the beach and all of the partying. Right down washington is a turkish restaurant to die for! Great food! Parking is right around the corner on 7th and $20 per day.

Do not book this hotel! Pictures are inaccurate.
The bed are horrible. Good luck trying to get a good nights sleep. I wish i could leave no stars. The hotel itsis loud and next to a very bad neighborhood. Drug dealers outside and homeless people are often waiting outside to harass you. I wish i could get a refund beautiful it was thag awful. The staff was nice but most barely spoke english as well.

Cockroaches….
I had an extremely disappointing experience at Clinton Hotel Miami Beach. Yes, their location is phenomenal and central but I think you can find something comparable at the same rate with less cockroaches. The communication from the hotel was appalling; despite multiple attempts to reach out, including leaving messages with the manager, I never received a response. The cleanliness of the hotel was also subpar—I ended up killing cockroaches in my room, which was absolutely unacceptable. The hotel promised to refund me the daily $38 resort fee after the incident and assured me they would file an incident report, but they never followed through and charged my credit card. Additionally, the pictures on Hotels.com are misleading and don't even come close to the actual state of the property. The five star reviews on the website seem to be fake, possibly written by people/trolls who didn’t even stay at the hotel, as they were all 5 star reviews from Mexico. I didn’t see a single Mexican guest during my time there, and the whole situation felt fishy. I regret staying here and will be pursuing a refund for my troubles.

Very Nice location & property
The Clinton was nicer than expected. The bed was very comfortable, the location in proximity to the beach and other shopping and dining locations was very good and all within walking distance from the hotel. The food and bar connected to the hotel was very good. We definitely plan to book here again when we return to Miami. We were only in the room for 1 night one day before our cruise. All of the staff were friendly.

surprised it is four stars
The only good thing about the stay is they let us checkout early, the phone did not work, every time I needed to go downstairs and wait for service. In addition, they did not clean the room for all three nights, since they came to early and then never came back. The hotel con-serge never told us about what included in the resort fee and did not even offer towels or beach chairs. They also ran out of shower gel and gave us soap.

Decent Hotel. Good Restaurant.
There was no real issues with the stay but I do try to book modern looking hotels. I felt the pictures online of the hotel, the rooms and its furnishings were deceiving. All furniture and was old and outdated. The couch in our suite was very beat up. And it wasn’t what I was expecting based on the pictures. Otherwise the hotel was standard and nothing went wrong. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant downstairs.

Catfish
Front desk people are friendly and helpful but the condition of the hotel is not as pictured. It’s the first time I’ve experienced being catfished by a hotel. They only provided one towel per person, no bath mats. Hot water in sink wouldn’t even turn on. The room smells like mildew. The shower was in terrible shape. The floors in the hallway were obviously buckled and the walls in the elevator were fabric bubbling off the walls it had been stabled to. The lights on the buttons of the elevator didn’t even work. I didn’t feel safe in it and just chose to use the stairs for the duration of my stay. I wouldn’t stay here for what price they ask. I’ve seen $40 a night hotels look better then this.
