When I got to my floor, the hallway smelled like smoke. There were also dehumidifiers in the hallway. The floor was very stained. But I was willing to let it go for the price. I get to my room and one of the night stands drawers wouldn’t stay closed, and the other one didn’t have a working outlet. The fridge didn’t keep anything that I had put in there cold. Only good things about it was that it was 12 min from my best friends house, and the pillows and sheets were AMAZING. But that’s about it.
They have a $100 deposit that you have to use a card (even if you have already paid in full with Expedia) They have a strict no smoking policy. Which I agreed to adhere to. If I needed to smoke I went off property. But I was charged the $100 for the deposit, AND a $150 charge for smoking in the room. Now mind you, this is on top of charging for the room.
Now refer back to the beginning of this review, the hall smelled like smoke. I did make a comment about it, and between the 2 days I was there 4 other people commented on it to me while waiting for the elevator.
I called today to ask about the charge and the lady I spoke with kind of got snippy with me, which in turn made me reactive. She said that the maid told her that I smoked in the room. Which I DID NOT, because I honestly don’t have the money to afford the charge. Which I told her I didn’t. She basically told me I was lying….
Still waiting for a phone call and refund.
