A great find
This hotel was in a perfect area. Not smack dab in the city but in a perfect area close to drive in. Even though it isn’t located in the city there were so many restaurants and shops surrounding the hotel. We were lucky to be staying when there was a very knowledgable and friendly front desk staff to tell us of great places to go! Rooms were clean and very cute! We will also be using the Maverick for any stay in PA!

I had a great stay! The room was very well appointed and had a cool aesthetic. Since I was staying for several days, it was very convenient to have a mini fridge, coffee maker, electric kettle & even a wine key. Keyless entry into the hotel & room was ver convenient as well.

Modern, clean and comfortable
Had a comfortable stay. While there wasn't any onsite parking there was reasonably priced parking close by. The neighborhood was quiet, close to restaurants and to Whole Foods so the location was convenient. Comfortable bed, modern styling and very clean and comfortable. Will stay here again on future visits.

Fun boutique hotel experience in the city
This is a great boutique hotel in a former YMCA building. Checking in and out was super easy with door codes sent via email and text message. We stopped briefly in front of the hotel which was marked as a 15-minute parking zone for hotel loading, then parked overnight in a garage 2 blocks away. Lots of great restaurant options nearby! We loved the window seat in our modern but cozy room.

Terrible
Where to start? Because the property does not have an actual front desk, we were supposed to receive an email with a code for the door. We did not. After spending 20 minutes on hold I finally talked to someone and after another 15 minutes finally got the code and then had to send a picture of my driver’s license and a selfie. Then, there is no on-site parking and there were no parking spaces available on the street. So we had to pay to park in a lot a block away. Thankfully the torrential downpour we drove through had stopped by then. The bed was very hard and low - on a platform about 6 inches off the ground. And good luck to the person that has to sleep by the wall. There is no floor space on that side so it makes it very difficult to get up in the middle of the night. And there is not an outlet on the other side. Fortunately we always carry an extension cord which we had to use in order to plug in my phone. I did contact Kasa and let them know of my frustration and only got a “non-apology” with excuses. Needless to say, we will never stay at another Kasa property.
