Lovely hotel. Staff were friendly & the rooms clean. In need of a refurb in places but would definitely stay again. 5 mins from BP pulse arena which was ideal . Also free parking. Had breakfast which was really good

Great Location, Friendly Staff
This hotel is well located for the NEC or BP Pulse Arena, just a 5/10 minute walk along a well-marked path. The rooms are clean and staff pleasant. Unfortunately, our room was located directly above a noisy Christmas event, with banging music until half-past midnight, so worth checking before you accept the room. We complained, and the manager was understanding, giving us free breakfast as compensation. So although I marked the hotel down a star, I would be happy to return.

Grossly overpriced for a very basic hotel
Very basic ,outdated hotel . Didn’t use any of the facilities as it was just a quick overnight stay after a business party . Room was really cold on arrival . Bathroom wasn’t too clean and there wasn’t any hot water in the morning so we had cold showers … apparently they had a boiler failure but nothing offered in compensation not even a hot drink ! Have complained but no response yet 😬

Would stay again.
Very impressed with the lobby area, nice restaurant and bar areas - greeted by lovely staff. Room was dated but we didn’t pay much so we can’t complain. Used the health suite and we were pleasantly surprised how quiet it all was, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were lovely - pool was cold we were told it had been like that all week. But that didn’t put us off using it again the next day. Easy to drive to resorts world from here, lots of road works at the moment but the hotel is well sign posted.
