Perfect Santa Fe Stay on Route 66
We had a fantastic stay while passing through for the night. It’s a perfect renovation of a classic Route 66 motel—updated while keeping its charm. The room was really comfortable and spotless, and the staff was super friendly. Highly recommend!

8/10 Very good

Great LoFi experience!
Adorable hidden gem. When I pulled into the pot hole filled parking lot & saw the half working neon sign, I had my doubts. But those items are easily overlooked after you get your room. Was overly greeted by the self proclaimed “Roger the over caffeinated lodger” when I arrived. Feels like this place caters to an older crowd since he felt the need to explain how the heater works & many other 20th century marvels within the room. My single room with 2 double beds was perfectly clean, had extra space for storage & was charmingly decorated with retro tile & unique Santa Fe themed art. Nestled in a lovely upper middle class neighborhood, there is a nice park just beyond the property. Perfect for traveling with pets. The restaurant next door was authentic & seemed to have a lot of local businesses on a Wednesday night. Quiet area, convenient to I-25, will definitely stay here again as I travel from Phoenix to Denver on the regular. Smallish bathroom but maybe the bigger rooms have other configurations? Loved the actual key on a fob with the room number! Sorry I only have pics from the restaurant.

Excellent place to stay
Great place to stay away from the Santa Fe hub bub yet still convenient to town. Recently remodeled rooms are very nice with updated New Mexico charm. They’re still working on the property but seem to be doing a good job. Definitely a nice change from Holliday Inn Express. As a single female traveler I feel safe there even though doors open to parking lot rather than hallway. Good shower, towels and bed. I stayed in a queen room it was very spacious—more like a suite.

Pecos Trail Inn is a favorite in our family! The rooms are stylish and comfortable, the staff (especially Roger - we love chatting with him) is wonderful. Add in good food close by, and this is a great choice in Santa Fe.

MOTOR COURT MEETS MODERN COMFORT
It’s time travel when you pull into the courtyard… motor court vibes from the 50’s with the Sangre de Cristo Mountains glowing in the setting sun. Then you open your room door, and the sweetest southwest style comfy room greets you. Great stay - thanks Leah and Adam!

A fantastic gem!
What a great place! Leah greeted us on arrival and was so kind and helpful. It is obvious that she has put a lot of time, energy, and love into the property. It is very clean and well kept. We stayed in the "prickly pear" room and the decor was wonderful! The motel is in a quiet area away from downtown but was still a convenient location for us to drive to all the places we wanted to visit. It is dog friendly and there is a lovely dog park next door. We had a couple meals at the Pecos Trail Cafe right next door and the food was excellent. We had some nice conversations with one of the owners, who was extremely kind and welcoming. My only complaints are that the woman at the front desk the next day seemed bothered and clueless when I asked her for suggestions on where to find a nearby ATM. Also, when we checked out the following day the man at the front desk wasn't friendly and just said "ok" when I dropped off our key. I would have told him how much we enjoyed our stay, but I didn't like his vibe. However, we still had a fantastic stay and would love to come back again!

This is an older property on “Route 66”. It remains well kept with modern upgrades. The front desk staff was very helpful. The restaurant on the left property was excellent. I like the location and will probably stay there again.

Overwhelming surprise! Great stay.
Absolutely loved this place. Met by a friendly gentleman behind the counter. I was a little worried driving to the room because the parking lot is in need of repair (good news, they are going to do so next year) but when we opened the door to our room, we were very impressed. A remodeled room with a king size bed, a kitchenette, large TV, wonderful decor, beautifully appointed bathroom, small dining table and one comfy chair. The only thing that was a concern was the rug on top of the tile. My wife and I slipped twice but never fell. I informed the front desk about the issue. They also had a beautiful pool but it closed the day before, its was 56 when we arrived in mid-October. Another plus is a restaurant on Property called Pecos Trail Cafe with a full bar serving very good New Mexican style Mexican food. We went for dinner and again for breakfast the next day. (They only serve breakfast on Fridays and Saturdays).

I am so happy I found Pecos Trail Inn. It was off the beaten path, so it was quiet and easy in and out. We ate at the Pecos Trail Cafe, which was great too! I will definitely be staying here next time we travel to Santa Fe!
