Do not stay here!!!!
The grounds were poorly kept. See pics. The grass was overgrown and there was debris everywhere. The pool was molding AFTER it was shocked. Someone collected the debris that had fallen in but no attempt was made to clear the green algae. See pics.
The pillows had no pillow cases. The furniture and bathroom set up looked like it was pieced together with random items.
There were no key cards. We were given physical keys and had to swap the keys back and forth with the office and housekeeping to get replacements towels. One young lady on the housekeeping staff was especially nasty. No attempt to offer good service. Straight attitude. The bar staff made ever attempt to be accommodating and friendly. They were the best part of the stay. At check in we asked where alll of the other people were. The lobby and bar were empty. We were told everyone was sleeping. It was 2pm!! Trust was There were probably only 6 other people staying there. She also voluntarily told us the pool was just shocked multiple times. It was not only green with algae but dirty. She told us we could walk to various restaurants. We couldn’t remember seeing any on the drive in. There was NOTHING within walking distance, She was clearly being deceptive and exaggerating the truth about the resort and its offerings.
I would NOT recommend this resort to anyone.

HORRIBLE POLICIES
My friend and I missed the connecting flight due to air traffic on the runways and pulling into the gates in ATL and we missed the flight. This hotel would not refund our monies. They would not even consider it given we had to cancel our entire trip and wound up returning home.

Good value for the money
Star was awesome. She got us an early check-in and was gracious in welcoming us with 2 tickets for rum punch.
Room was clean and comfortable with beautiful ocean view from balcony.
The young lady tending bar did a great job.

Hard Pass
I rarely leave unsavory reviews, but this place is extremely rundown. They seem to be more worried about their nightly entertainment than making sure their customers are happy. We sat in the restaurant for breakfast 18 minutes after it was open, and no one came to us or talk to us, but the server was there ignoring us. I must say the location right on the beach is beautiful, but if they don’t take care of this property, it’s going to fall down.

Bad Experience
Unfortunately I had bad experience at this property. 1-Power outage for 4 hours with just a flashlight at room....No generators at property. 2- Someone open my room while I was resting with a key supposed to open only Room 13 and I was in room 3. Spoke to Mgt and they claim that they might have give this person a Master Key. Hotel might be good fit for Beach Lovers, not for Business trips since there is no Rest - Shopping - etc at walking distance.

We are a low maintenance couple.
We had a wonderful time, staff is very friendly, property is in decline, in need of management and maintenance... I'm an advanced diver so snorkeling off the beach was a breeze even though it was windy and kinda rough, plenty of fish and coral right at The Palms!!!!

Beautiful spot needs physical maintenance.
Beautiful location on the beach
Physical maintenance needs some work, multiple broken light fixtures, internal, and external. No lights at night up the walkway to the room you had to use your phone or a flashlight to not fall. Cracked broken tile ant entrance to the room !! nice place just really needs a good maintenance support.

I’ve stayed at this location before and you can’t beat the location. It’s just the sound of the waves and it’s right outside your door.
The maintenance of the landscaping could be better. I know that there has been more rain than usual but this shouldn’t be an excuse. The parking area was also overgrown and could use better security lighting. The room was clean and neat but the TV and fire stick was disconnected from the power that was stretched from behind the refrigerator. I think that the power cords could be managed more like a hotel than a teenager’s bedroom.
It’s a good place to stay for the price and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was in very poor condition. The TV didn’t work, the safe didn’t work, the phone didn’t work and there were exposed wires in the room, which is dangerous. The bathroom had broken racks and tp holder. The fixtures had white crud all over them and were unsanitary. The dressers were all scratched up and dirty. The pool was cloudy with rust on the sides and couldn’t be used. There was trash around the area as well as the garbage cans were never emptied and smelled. The Restaurant was always closed and it was rare to reach anyone. We tried many times to contact the general manager by phone and email and she never replied or answered. The grounds were also unkept. We took photos of all the problems. We checked out after staying only one night and are still waiting to hear back for a refund of the 6 nights we didn’t use. Upon leaving we spoke to the office assistant who told us we would be refunded. It has been a week and we are still waiting so we will now try to get a charge back through our credit card. We also contacted Expedia and have a case no. They also tried to contact the hotel with no response.

The view is very good even from a ground floor unit. We were the only guests at the hotel our first night, would have been nice to get moved to the second floor. Apparently there was some maintenance taking place. I find it interesting that on our second night a member of the USVI legislature stayed at the hotel and was able to get a second floor unit. The biggest bummer was the
restaurant /bar closed early the first night with no notice. Our second day the restaurant/bar did not open at all. What good does it do to have a ticket for a free Rum Punch for each day of your stay if the bar is closed. Having said that, when the bar was open our servers, Neish and Becky took great care of us. At the front desk we meter Starr and her partner Ashley, both of them were superb friendly and helpful, thanks ladies!
