This is very basic accommodation. Exterior of building is filthy. The interior area needs a clean desperately. My room was small, but worked for a single traveler. If you’re on a budget, it’s an OK option.

8/10 Very good

Nice, clean and modern room. Very small, bed was advertised as a queen but was more of a large twin/small double. Loved the rain shower! Wifi was somewhat fast, smart tv worked well. No hot water in the kitchenette but worked in bathroom sink and shower. Hallway had a musty smell but room smelled clean. Pin to the front door and code to the room were emailed to me before I arrived and worked. I never crossed paths with an employee, everything was done through email. No turndown service. A lot of noise on the street as this location is near many bars/clubs. Very happening spot! The business downstairs (on the corner) was renovating so there was construction noise all through the day, but it appears a new business was opening up, so the noise will be temporary). Laundry was not free, but was fairly cheap. Great location, walking distance to IQAM and McGill, metro closeby and many many restaurants. Great if you are a young person or couple visiting friends/family at university, and enjoy the nightlife!

2/10 Poor

The hotel had mold, it appears water leaks from the shower under the floor which was very evident on the hardwood and in the shower room. Room is smaller then expected, basically have to squeeze in between end of bed and storage to get by. Communication with company wasn’t best, I had to call them, they advised me they’d call me back, I waited over 35 mins, I had to then call them back for an update.

Good location near public transit, food, drinks and walking distance to most downtown locations. Building was hard to find as it is not marked as a hotel. There’s no front desk so make sure to contact that place in advance. Rooms are clean and a bit small but have almost everything you need.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Problems: 1. toilet did not flush (there was fecal matter in the toilet when I arrived). 2. air-conditioning dripped on my head while sleeping 3. was locked out of my room for 1/2 hour 4. water did not get hot (or warm) 5. Management did not help with any of the issues. None of the problems were addressed or solved. 6. there is no front desk, no accountability, no help. The worst place I have ever stayed.

We really enjoyed our stay here when travelling for Osheaga! The check-in and check-out processes were as straight forward as they could ever be, our room was very clean and air conditioned, and the nearest metro station was just a very short walk down the road. This hotel doesn't provide parking, but there is an Indigo parking garage nearby. The street is pretty busy at night, but our third-floor room stayed quiet enough to sleep through it. Overall a great choice, and we definitely want to stay here again next time we visit Montreal!

2/10 Poor

Terrible communication
We self checked into our room which felt like a sauna. The remote for the ac was missing. After several calls back to the only number available for a contact, I finally insisted we have another room. We were assigned to another hotel for the night and had to handle getting there at our own expense. We were told to wait for instructions on what to do for the following nights stay. Figuring we would get a phone call because of the nature of the situation but instead an email was sent that i couldn’t open until later in the afternoon. By which time we had sent the cleaning lady away and apparently the guests who were checking into the room for the night. I called them back and was told to move back to the original hotel, with no arrangements made on the hotels behalf. I insisted that we settled in to the new location after picking up concessions and what not. We did not hear from anyone again until the final day when a gentleman called to tell us we had to move back and I explained that the room would not be ready for any new guests for the night regardless. He said he would call back and we didn’t hear anything else. Extremely unprofessional and tremendously inconvenient with no attempts to make it right. The amenities in the room were random and didn’t make sense for a small room with a kitchenette. Like 1 knife, 2 bowls, 1 plate. The only pot on hand was a stew pot big enough to feed an army. The bed was too soft and only a double, so it was crippling and tiny

0/10. Listen to the reviews about this property. Dirty, dusty, ants, bedbugs, horrible smell, you name it. If people are rating it good here, you probably got one of the most recently cleaned rooms because my room was actually UNTOUCHED for a very long time. It was pretty dusty and had this horrific smell along with ants crawling the walls and itchy beds (caused by bedbugs!) Would not recommend staying here. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

There was an issue during the check in process in that the door mechanism wouldn’t unlock the door. With no desk or staff to assist onsite, I was locked out of my room for an hour and on the phone with Expedia who weren’t able to help. Someone finally called and was incredibly rude to start the call after if stated I wanted a refund and was going to book for somewhere else. The room was good overall and was pretty quiet. It was incredibly small and moving about could be a challenge unless you’re young a fit. Tip to management: treat your guests like they matter to you ! I would choose to stay somewhere else in the future.

Stay Away!
I had a deluxe double room, but there was nothing deluxe about it. The room was tiny, dark and stuffy, and dont expect room service. The entire building was in need of a thorough cleaning and repairs. There was construction in the commercial space right below my room that started at 7am. When I brought it to the hotel's attention, they told me they'd look into it but never got back to me, so I ended up leaving early. Since there is no staff on site, you can't talk to anyone directly either. The only good thing I have to say about the property is the location, as it very central and close to all transit. However, there is a lot of street life on this block, so if you like it to be quiet, this hotel is not for you.

We were surprised how clean and feature packed this location was! Very easily walkable to public transportation, delicious restaurants and the beautiful old Montreal district. Parking is paid via local nearby garages and a walk is required though not an issue. Other than an unexpected 3:00 AM fire alarm from another room, the stay was great and I would recommend this location, even planning to return ourselves in the future.

I stayed at this place from May-1 to May-4. The room was clean but very small. Note:There is no reception at this hotel. I had two incident, first the police sent every one from the hotel with no prior notice and I did not have access to the room till after 7pm and there was absolutely no communication from the hotel. Fire alarm also went out at midnight around 2am which was very uncomfortable, still no communication from the hotel. If you are staying alone this might be a nice option, but this is not worth it for a nice vacation stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is incredible and the room had everything we needed. Some of the reviews said the street noise was loud, but we didn't have a problem - it is just normal city noise. So happy we booked this hotel :).
