Fun Hotel but Not Good for a Work Trip. A+ Locale.
The best part about this hotel is the location. Great spot for walking to either shops in SoHo or Mayfair.
Hotel itself is nice. Tacky, but in an entertaining way. Room was comfortable, but was noisy. Could hear everything in the hall and through the walls. Bed was a-mazing (best part of the room), but the shower was a bit dirty. It smelled a little like ammonia and you could hear/feel the old water squishing under the shower flooring when you stepped in before you turned the water on. Also they have this funny rock garden surrounding the tub in the room. Thought it was great, but it's not covered so you can easily trip in the dark and hurt yourself. There is a lot of fun technology in the rooms, including a BT soundsystem, but it was hard to get setup and I needed someone from the frontdesk to come help. Also, I was on a work trip and there wasn't much space to setup my laptop - about an 9" ledge by the TV to use a desk.
If I was traveling for fun, I'd def stay again. If you need to get work done, another place might be better. As said at the beginning though, location is A+.
