Santa Fe winter stay
I recently stayed at this charming property and, overall, had a pleasant experience. However, a few issues did catch my attention. The fireplace in my room wasn't functioning properly, and there was no wood available on-site, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the temperature of the room was set at a chilly 60° upon arrival and took some time to warm up. Despite these setbacks, the property's charm and friendly staff made the stay enjoyable. The location is excellent, and Mille's Bakery next door is a huge bonus—definitely worth a visit for their delicious pastries.

Just okay
Toilet didn’t flush well for the first two days. Resort fee seemed high for a motel. Friendly staff, breakfast buffet was okay. Codes used to get into the room were cumbersome. I felt everything was a bit overpriced.

4/10 Fair

we chose this because it showed a restaurant & bar on the premises. which it did but only offered breakfast buffet which was very good but food was barely warm 3 out of the 4 days we ate there. They said the restaurant and bar were not serving dinner or drinks until further notice We could of stayed at a hotel for less than what this cost if we knew we were only getting breakfast. also remote was not working properly they did try to fix it once but never worked again after that. also no elevator had to carrier all our luggage up a flight of stairs my husband is almost 70 years old. didn't offer to help either. I feel this is false advertising and should be compensated for this, we would have chosen another hotel if we knew they did not offer anything but the breakfast buffet. We had several options and feel we should be given some of our money back.

Overnight stay in Santa Fe ~
A really neat spot. The sweet little gal that checked us in was super helpful… Basic, very well decorated room. Our breakfast experience and breakfast food options were very nice and much appreciated….

Hotel has no live TV
We are from LA, we had to drive cross country and found this hotel. The Dodgers are in the playoffs and had a game the night we were staying there. After a long day of driving we were looking forward to getting our food and staying in our room and watching the game. After checking in and going to our room, we turned on the TV to find out they had no cable, only internet TV. They had a cable Box in the room but it didn’t work. We went to the office to ask about it and tell them we didn’t want to stay. They told us they would not refund our money and told us we should have told them about us wanting to watch the game when we made the reservation. The website says they have HDTV.

It was our first trip to Santa Fe, had waited 40 years to go. The Inn was exactly as we had hoped, decor, surroundings and staff. We will certainly plan to return

Great location
The pro: the location was very convenient and the room was attractively furnished in New Mexico style. The con: the breakfast was average at best and the bed pillows were very lumpy.

Great Property Near Old Town
A great stay at the Vanessie Hotel in Santa Fe. The staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. A great location, close to Old Town. Rooms were very spacious and clean, but just needed some new caulking around the tub. They provided a lovely breakfast.

Pleasantly surprised!
Just 2-3 blocks from the Plaza. Lovely room with SW style. Bed and pillows were great. Had a fridge and water in the room. Included breakfast was wonderful, fresh melons, berries, salad, omelettes, sausage, pancakes, juice, coffee and tea. Snacks, pastries available throughout the day. We had a short in our hairdryer, another one was provided. Would stay here again. Free parking on site.
