Really nice stay at a cozy hotel by the beach
We had a really nice 1 week stay at Azure. Right on the beach is as it says - right on the beach - so close you will be draggig sand into your room. If you expect a new refurbished resort you will be disappointed, but if you expect a cozy hotel with a nice location and a nice staff you will like this hotel.
Simpson bay beach is not as crowded as Mullet og Maho. Short walk to grocerystore and plentiful restaurants.
I you want to see the planes at Maho - walk 2,5km along the beach - have a few drinks watching the planes then walk back home og take one of the local buses.
Keywords: clean, cozy, little noise, beautiful view and nice staff/owner.

Lovely little place. Perhaps more a guest house than a hotel, but it met our needs perfectly for a 2-night stay in transit through St Maarten - clean, comfortable, with fridge, cooker etc., 5 minutes from the airport, walking distance to several shops and lots of restaurants, and literally right on the beach. We will be back next time we need to stop over in St Maarten

My room was on the ground floor, right on the beach — I could hear the sound of the ocean all night. It was peaceful and incredibly relaxing, like falling asleep in a private paradise.

Perfect bohemian guesthouse
This guest house is the perfect bohemian get away. It was very clean, ocean front, like 10 steps out the door to your beach chair. Great landscaping for privacy between units. Owner was super helpful, informative and responsive. Would love to stay here again.

No glitz straight beach is how I can describe my stay. Amazing location, clean rooms, pharmacy not too far, and restaurants at walking distance. The owner Mike lives on the property so if you need anything just ask. The only thing that I think my room was missing was a few usb charging ports and an iron. If you’re tired, you’re mind is always running, and you just need a place to relax, this is definitely the hotel for you. Will recommend this hotel to friends and family.
