Worst hotel ive stayed in a long time
Terrible stay - phoned up to check if i could have a ground floor room, they agreed. Upon check in they tried to put me on the 4th floor and manager denied any knowledge of agreement. Agreed to go to lower ground floor room after a while of arguing. The "bed" was more of a travel cot style, very uncomfortable and felt everything through the matress. Room and hotel stank of mold and damp. Utilities very noisy and came on randomly throughtout the night, booked for 2 nights, left after 1.

Room was in the basement. You could hear loud music and the underground trains Shower was in a corner of the bathroom with a pitched roof. Couldn't stand up. Drain un the middle of the room. No curtain. Lights wouldn't turn off.

Not suitable for pensioners .
Advertised easy access but had to climb steps into hotel then flight of stairs to lift, after getting out of lift on our floor we then had to climb another flight of stairs to where our room was, this was carrying heavy suitcases. Has me and my husband are born pensioners with health issues this was not ideal.

Nice stay, comfortable and the room came with a decent heater system on the cold night. A little noisy at times but literally kings cross station outside the window and nothing that would have kept anyone awake. Overall a decent place for a little pit stop stay.

Poorly maintained building.
Old building and very badly maintained. Extractor like noise coming from outside the window in the morning hours. There was water on the bathroom floor but could not find where from. Bathroom sink and shower drainage pipes were blocked. Second night the bathroom and room floor flooded as water was pouring from the bathroom ceiling. Asked for another room and was told all rooms were checked in so nothing else was available.

Room for four was simple but all that we needed. Clean and comfortable beds and good working condition bathroom. Hanger/wardrobe space and tea/coffee/fridge facilities. We were able to store our luggage in the luggage room on day of arrival and departure, though the tagging system isn’t very efficient and is left for customers to do themselves so I wouldn’t trust leaving valuable items there. Our room was in the basement which was unfortunately extremely noisy each morning with other guests using stairs/ luggage room above our heads. If you are sensitive to noise request an upstairs room. You can also hear the hum of trains / tubes in the basement rooms which may or may not be okay for some. Fresh towels were delivered every day. Overall lived up to value and would stay again for a short budget trip.
