Overall, a pretty solid place to stay—clean, comfortable, and well-located. Just note that the rooms are on the darker side with no real views, and there aren’t any on-site dining options, so plan meals accordingly.

Tired of grey cube hotels?
The architecture of this hotel should be an inspiration to developers, as it demonstrates how you can thoughtfully revive something with character and still make it luxurious and cozy. Warm exposed brick and wood, high ceilings, fun angles all around. My wife and I loved it, and the staff were wonderful. The location can’t be beat: a Trader Joes down the street within walking distance means you can actually take advantage of the kitchenette if you choose. And if not, lots of room for leftovers from the myriad of nearby eateries in the full size fridge.
