Car park at least 100 yards from the cottage. I’m 84 years old with several bags the heaviest approx 50 pounds carried along a narrow cement stone path with several broken and uneven stones. No handrails for many stairs and no lighting for many stairs. Bitterly cold wind walking to the Lodge for supper and side door locked making it necessary to walk around to the front entrance. After supper I asked a staff member for permission to exit by the side door and was refused because the end door was “staff only”. Guests had to walk around the building in the bitterly cold wind. Except for the dangerous walk at night with inadequate lighting in the bitter cold, ...I loved my short stay, ... my 3rd visit and the 1st since the re-build. The food was quite good but not as good as it used to be. Will I return? YES! But not in the winter and not at night. The staff (except for the one who refused my exit request) were all very friendly and eager to help. I would have accepted help getting my luggage to the cottage. All-in-all, ...We enjoyed our short visit to “White Point”.

Lots of bunnies around this time. Always a comfortable stay. Rooms are getting dated but still clean. Most cabins have been converted to propane fireplaces so that is s negative for us. The two main reasons we go there are the ocean sounds and the wood burning fireplaces. We stay here 3-5 times a year. I would reccomend staying two nights especially in the summer so that you can see and experience everything Whitepoint has to offer.
