This was a wonderful place to stay in Chinatown area. It was really clean. The staff was really really nice. The location was perfect for sightseeing, food and everything else. I stay in Chinatown three or four times a year. Just found this place and now this is my new favorite place. I will be staying here for now on. This is an older hotel from the 60s with much of the original furnishings. So, it’s not 4-star in that sense. But, it’s clean, well-maintained, and the staff is wonderful. Centrally located between Chinatown and the Italian section. An excellent value, especially as they include parking.

Location is perfect - Balcony is the highlight! Several to-go food places all around. North Beach and Chinatown are at your doorstep. We had delicious wonton soup for breakfast every morning on our balcony! Fridge, in-room coffee and remodeled interior - appreciated. Everything worked. Bed could use a mattress topper but the extra pillows were nice. Has free parking which is rare and nice if you have a car. We didn't but great option if you do! Pleasant and accommodating staff - would definitely stay again.

Definitely a 3 star place. It’s fine for what it is. It’s cheap, convenient parking, you can walk to anywhere, and I felt safe. My favorite part is the free parking and valet parking. Very convenient. The place itself is a little dirt and outdated but I’m a poor college kid so worked great for me. Definitely recommend it if you don’t care about where you stay
